Good that the avalanche was small and it ended safely. I'm wondering if it released above you or from the snowfield cut by your skis. I think it was the still unbonded, recently fallen snow up to 20 cm. The day before you, as a walker, I had similar experiences in the Jalovšek couloir, where the boundary between old and new fallen unbonded snow was well felt. In the middle of the otherwise sufficiently wide couloir it was already quite trampled and skied, where the ascent would have been much easier, but there occasionally rule stone projectiles (no helmet can withstand the slightly larger ones), so I ascended vertically right next to the Jalovšek wall and trampled the new snow. If you cut the snow vertically, there is much less chance of triggering an avalanche. Praise for the nice pictures and video. Stay safe further.

This morning on Triglav. The path all the way to the top dry and without snow, on top a small pile for tasting. Oh what a beautiful month has started

With a friend we decided to go to Triglav in July. Start from Savica over Triglav Lakes Dolič and to the top. Since the tour is long, it interests me where it's best to overnight. And some extra advice wouldn't be amiss

Bohinj Zasavska hut on Prehodavci approx 5 hours, to hut on Dolič approx 6.5 hours, to Planika (in my opinion the most suitable) approx 8-8.5 hours. Everything depends on fitness and walking speed. Definitely reserve at least 1 week or more nights in any hut around Triglav, although July is not so busy but it happens that some weekend space runs out. As for the advice, personally I'd pull it to Planika first day, summit in the morning. If you're not in a hurry, it's very nice in the evening at Prehodavci if the weather is good....

Fužine - Planina Blato Car - Hut at the lake - Dedno polje - Štapce - Seven Lakes - Hribarce - Kanjavec - Dolič - sleep. Day 2 - Triglav - Planika - Kredarica - Staničev dom - Vodnikov dom - sleep. Day 3 - Mišelj pass - Lazovski saddle - Planina Laze - Hut at the lake - Planina Blato Car - nice circular variant several ways. Vodnikov dom - Dolič below Mišelj peak - Hribarce - Velika and Mala Zelnarica - Tičarica - Štapce - D.polje - Pl.Blato. or over Vogle to Dedno polje - pathless good luck

Has anyone been to Triglav, how do the conditions look, heading up tomorrow very early.

Start before 2am from Krma, all to Kredarica hard. At hut on Kredarica before 5am, some rest, then at dawn towards Triglav summit. Up and down excellent conditions, later snow softens, morning wind moderate, later calming. Then descent on south snow back to Krma.
