Mule track to the branch for Luknja mostly dry, below Skok I put on crampons, because without them you can't cross, and I'll need them further anyway. Above Skok I turn back to the "glacier" and up on frozen snow towards. This steep traverse is already icy, so I go left variant, then back right and directly up to Morbegno. Lojza not home!
Past Glava I traverse to the entry to Bovška škrbina. On ledges little snow, what there is is hard, partly icy. Gully to the saddle very nice.
On summit see tracks of one, view as from Triglav, but slowly fogging and clouding. Descend to J.T.P and winter variant to hut on Dolič, from there to basin above Ladja and over Komar to valley.

Hi all. We plan on doing Triglav from Bohinj lake last week of May this year - is this doable? Are any huts open for the night this time of the year?

Kredarica is always open. There are better starting points to Triglav in this time of year (just my opinion).

End of May there are still winter conditions on Triglav, so you need crampons and ice axes, and of course knowledge and experience how to use them ... good luck
