Hello.

Yesterday with Uroš (UROŠ1) from Krma to Triglav. At the beginning (forest part) partially icy, further no special features. On the way to Kredarica experienced nice sunrise. Followed ascent to Triglav. After traverse we pack away ice axe and crampons (assess no need). At Triglav summit sunny, warm and clear. For descent used crampons. In my opinion they are essential. After Triglav visited Ivačičeva cave below Kredarica. Followed quick descent to valley and long way to Styria.

Experienced the best Christmas with wonderful gift - Triglav.

Today from Kot valley (road practically dry to the end) towards Stanič hut. Path mostly snowy but uphill passable without crampons. From there over Rž to Kredarica. A bit after the hut hard snow starts and up to first chimneys crampons and ice axe obligatory. Then ascent to Triglav, which requires at least on descent use of crampons. Followed return to Krma valley. Thanks to two good souls from Vrhnika for transport from Krma to Kot.

Spent great weekend at Kredarica and Triglav. Conditions already described by others, I used crampons up to 1200 m and sun at 2000 m then from cca 1/2 ascent on M.T. to top. Without them wouldn't go to top. Think small crampons fully enough, ice axe really not needed anywhere, svk useful in places, some without anything but don't recommend.

Friendly and hardworking meteorologists, overnight despite unheated rooms quite tolerable. Sunday morning reminded of mid September...

Also from Pokljuka to Planika and to the summit is currently easily accessible

Only towards the east there was a little fog

Not just one, but whole crowds of gluttons

Now the individual teeth are almost visible :)

The lower little spring is still not under ice

In these conditions it's the nicest from Luknja to Plemenice and over Bovška škrbina to the top.

Descent via Dolič and under Dolič still has the most snow on the whole route.

On Sunday we also went to Kredarica and next morning to summit. Started from Rudno polje – path to Kredarica mostly dry, around Vodnikov dom and above Konjski preval cross some snowfields. Pleasantly warm, gentians blooming. Conditions from Kredarica to top described by predecessors. Dry and ice plus frozen snow.

Monday via Krma to Triglav. Beautiful days it'd be a shame to spend in valley. From Kredarica to top rock-ice-snow aplenty.

Magical Krma. In the light of the headlamp, the crystals sparkled like countless lights.

At the summit. The ice axe was used only for the photo.

Thanks everyone! The moon is my favorite too. And Ivačičeva cave is worth seeing.

. Answer ... in the last days of December 2015. For that date unimaginable crowd, half of them Czechs again zmeden
