If true about three months age then really weird from the owner. Such a dog shouldn't even hike in the hills yet let alone to Kredarica. All the best to both although if not visiting someone indoors then a week out there without being seen is unbelievable

Does anyone know how to correct the news on hribi.net front page as it has old wrong info that he was last seen on Triglav which isn't true.
Puppy last seen at Planika lodge and around 15h supposed to return from Planika. Anyone see him later? We have news a hiker heard puppy whining at Planina Velo polje near Vodnikov dom.
Anyone who photographed self and friends maybe Aleš or puppy in background?
Somewhere between Planika and Vodnikov dom??
Anyone know someone who was there Friday afternoon???

Hello. From FRI to SUN we wandered these areas and SAT afternoon heard a visitor at Triglav Lakes Hut telling someone (looked like keeper or someone in the know), under Hribarice pass (unmarked turnoff on scree), direction Planina pod Mišeljim vrhom or Mišeljska glava saw abandoned backpack. Thrown or placed don't know. No one nearby anyway. Just info I heard. Maybe helps. Best, R

I went on Friday from Rudno polje a bit after 4:30 in the morning and came back around 11 am. But I don't remember any man with a dog coming towards me when returning. Only one woman with a dog, but she was already returning and I overtook her. I was really surprised that this time I didn't meet more people with dogs, as I remember dogs well.

I met him when returning on Friday from Planika hut ca. half hour below the hut. Around 9.30-10.00, he was going up to the hut. I even asked how old the doggy was, he seemed young. Didn't ask where he was heading, unfortunately

They've been searching since Saturday. Helicopters, mountain rescue dogs, GRS, SV, police, ... the organization really did everything. Also cavers working to check the chasms. FOR NOW UNSUCCESSFUL.

We just need info on where he went from Planika hut when returning towards Rudno polje.
At 12 on Friday the dog was waiting in front of Planika. When the colleague returned from Triglav at 15.33, the dog and backpack were gone, so he went down from Planika in the meantime.
If anyone knows someone who was around Planika then, heading to Planika...

Hi,
I have 2 questions, namely does anyone else plan to go to Triglav on Saturday 10.9.2016 despite not quite optimal weather forecast. And is starting from in front of Pokljuka at 5.15 am early enough to get back to valley before dark. Physical and mental condition solid, but true I'd go to Triglav/mountains alone for first time so far always visited in company. Thanks for reply, cheers!

If physical condition is solid, you can be back before noon, not just at dusk, if starting from Rudno polje at 5:15 am. I would also warn to check detour for Pokljuka beforehand, which was recently right after Bled.
Even someone without solid condition can be back by dusk. That's full 14 hours from start.
Otherwise if not fully sure, then better start from Krma where somewhat faster and easier. Only watch not to stray towards Konjsko sedlo right after Zgornja Krma pasture.

Well, if hiking as fast as signs say about 11hrs up and back this route. Plus say 3hrs longer breaks (snacks, beer) means back by 19.00. Faster pace as @iUnknown says, lunch in valley 
For slower pace like "norms" I wouldn't recommend one-day tour.
