I went month ago at 1am from Krma. Very pleasant.
path impossible to miss.
had to find ways between cows sleeping/lying in first valley before Prgarca :-)

Nice greeting.

Any peculiarity from Rudno polje to Triglav past Vodnikov dom and Planika over Mali Triglav. Heard road to Pokljuka closed somewhere, colleague couldn't explain exactly, didn't know if yes or no.

In July road through Gorje closed. We went past Bled and bit before Boh.Bistrica turn right through Gorjuše to Pokljuka. If closure still, don't know. Good luck.

Yes, from Bled via Podhom back to Gorje. Closure is through Rečica (see "road closures").

Or via motorway to Lipce exit (Jesenice) and straight through Gorje to Pokljuka. Closure is between Bled and Gorje.

On Tuesday I went to Pokljuka for Triglav via the old road but no signs anywhere (from SE), just crossed out Pokljuka and nothing else. For the return there were signs but they led to the motorway so I was "fuming", went back towards the lake and found way to the lake by wandering without "detour" signs.

ON MOTORWAY extend to next exit (Lipce) - everything well marked, on motorway and then from exit onwards. I was pleasantly surprised as the detour is so well arranged.

If you don't want motorway then go towards Bohinj and before Bohinjska Bistrica right to Pokljuka. Sometimes need to study access to starting point too, not just the tour route.

Krma Valley-Triglav (via Planika and Triglav Notch, back to Vodnik Hut and Bohinj Gates
This year too PD Škofja Loka did a two-day tour to Triglav. Start Saturday from Krma Valley at six in the morning. Parking lot already completely full. Above Prgarca we turn to Kurica and Konsko sedlo. At 11 we are at Planika. When they assign us Krma room we slowly gear up and head to Triglav via Triglav Notch. Last year we went up here and no crowd. This time not so. Also here full crowd. At Triglav summit utterly indescribable crowd. We do baptism of three first-timers and after half hour rest head to Planika via usual path. To the junction for Planika laborious meeting of too many hikers mostly coming from Kredarica. At Planika dinner and deserved rest awaited us. Staff exceptionally tries to satisfy hikers with snacks, food and lodging. That day they delivered bottled water by helicopter which was already running out. Hut was 100% full. In the morning we wake to sunny morning. After breakfast head to Veliko polje to Vodnik Hut. Very quickly at the hut and after short stop head over Bohinj Gates back to Krma. We had gorgeous weather both days, views phenomenal, flowers still blooming.

Up towards Triglav, the queue is already forming - Mali Triglav.

At the junction - here the path from the škrbina joins the one from Dolič and Plemenič.

Still the fire brigade path and back to the valley.

Back to Vodnikovo and over Bohinjska vratca to Krma.

Yesterday still in dark start from Rudno polje. To Vodnik hut and Planika path without issues, over Notch but a bit below summit one rockfall and those descending sent quite some stones on our heads. Helmets came in very handy. At summit at 13 surprisingly all alone. Mandatory rope over gully for 3 who first time up here then over little Triglav back to Planika.
To Vodnik hut we got washed by shower for almost an hour, so change here and in dry (weather and clothes) onwards home. Super day with all weather niceties and nuisances nasmeh

On Friday, 26.8.2016, Aleš Komac left from Rudno polje towards Triglav. He had a young pup with him - a German-Belgian mix (name: Ris). According to some info, Aleš was seen in front of Planika hut around 14:30, when we assume he started descending.
If anyone noticed them, please report info to police station (more in news on hribi.net). Did he talk to anyone on the way, mention to someone where he would return? Since still missing, any info welcome.

It's hard to believe that no one would have noticed him. A man with a young dog... There aren't many like that on Triglav either zmeden

I hope there are some search actions on the ground and not just on the internet.

This doesn't quite make sense to me but a guy with a 3-month-old dog can only go to Rašica not to Triglav. I hope everything is OK with the pup mrk pogled
