Darinka hi! Once before you asked how many hours walk from Krn Lakes to Prehodavci and I wrote for whole day - around 10 hrs. Someone else wrote, if I recall, three times two and half hours (source PZS). Now tell who was right. And one more info. Type Planinske poti (PZS) and map of all hiking trails in Slovenia appears. Put cursor (arrow) on specific trail and in bottom right corner window with trail number appears, trail on map thickens (red color). If you click (select with arrow) that number all trail data shows. Think my explanation good enough also for other users who need such data...

I think there's no really great alternative to Double Lake anyway, so nothing else but step faster so boredom passes quicker . Bigger part of your tour (without Triglav) I walked first time just last month, so I know how you enjoyed!

You were totally right. I wrote exactly how many hours from Lepena to Dolič 12.5. And with weight on back. It's true I hardly stopped at all. Somehow calculated for myself, also from your info which helped a lot. Tour not hard but still ascents and downhill which tires more.

On Friday there were still some patches of wet snow on ridge from Mali Triglav to Triglav but no major issues. Assume over weekend even those patches gone.

Has anyone walked from Dovje to the end of the road in Krma? Or is it better to take some transport?

Guys from Kofler sport saved the day. See you on a nice cool morning at that time on Kredarica?

Yes there I already reserved equipment, now they arranged transport for me too. That's how it is if you don't have a car

Without a car the easiest is from Mojstrana to Vrata and onwards. No need to go along the road, there's an interesting path beside.

I'm gonna be a bit late, only a bit after 9 I'll get to Mojstrana and they'll pick me up from Kofler at the bus stop with equipment, so I'm hiking up. If I had more time I'd definitely go on foot. At night to Kredarica isn't really for me, although it would be nice.

Is it still possible to fill drinking water at Vodnik hut? A couple of years ago I know it was possible to fill outside somewhere.

Probably it was written somewhere but too much to read everything Usually I try to start from trailhead about half hour before sunrise. Sometimes I use a headlamp at start. For Triglav I'd like to start earlier to avoid crowd (from Krma). How about it - with headlamp can you see enough to safely reach Kredarica by sunrise? Clear sky but Moon these days not biggest (going to last quarter). Thanks for answer/opinion/experiences!

I went last year with headlamp in dark. Though from Zadnjica. At full moon. But it was hidden behind hill. Nothing to it. Eyes adjust quickly to dark. No big problems. Path I saw well. Interesting meeting with ibex by path. Wasn't scared of me.
