Redbull, congrats on the ninth ascent of Triglav this year. I see you're the first to approach Triglav after the snow dump. You're a legend. For such a demanding ascent, top condition, knowledge of safe snow approach and thoughtful step help you. Good luck (probably not just me) also for this year's 10th ascent of Očak and the photo report is excellent as always. More luck in the mountains!

Triglav this weekend. Anyone wants to join?
Hello,
I am a spaniard who just arrived to ljubljana. I have been looking at the weather forecast and it will be good for going to Triglav this weekend.
I have experience hiking, mostly in the Pyrenees (between 3000-3400m), and I wanted to go up Triglav before the winter comes.
Would anyone want to join? I have never done the hike, so I don´t know the way. I can get information, but maybe it is good if you knew a bit.

How much snow is there on Tominšek's path from Vrata to Kredarica?

Yesterday evening I browsed the webcams a bit to see how much snow there is. I noticed the Kredarica webcam recorded several hikers who went to Triglav in the morning and back around noon. Congrats to whoever it was!

Those on the camera didn't reach the top. After three almost four hours walking to M.Triglav they turned around and walked back also about that many hours. I think the live ice already at the entrance and all the way to M.Triglav surprised them greatly. Tomorrow I'll tell more extensively about Sunday conditions from both directions.
