As far as I remember the entrance has never been snowy. But the exit on the other side is snowy when there's more snow.mežikanje

Good track from Krma, where most arrived. From Kredarica to the top, December conditions which still shouldn't be underestimated.

Regarding the cave Franci said it well. We dug out the exit a bit so now it's much better.

On the above mentioned date it was two years since the miraculous survival of the fall from Mali Triglav. Weather similar to last year, very good conditions to the top. Company phenomenal, thanks to all

On Wednesday I arrived without chains and 4x4 drive to Zasipska planina, to the last house, there is some space for a couple of cars, but it's a crisis if someone comes towards you

Dejan all the best for your b.d. also from my side. I couldn't with Mirjam mark the memory of your "miraculous survival" because of replacing a colleague at work, but I'll head up soon, as the weather forecast is still nice and I also remember that in mountains we are quite dependent on conditions on the path, not only on experience and equipment, which is also an important factor in our endeavors. Many beautiful and especially safe ascents I wish you further.

Thanks Slavko
Until mid next week there should be nice weather.
Good luck and congratulations Mirjam for the ascent to Ocaka

Currently good conditions for ascent to the top, we would like just more snow...somewhat little for end of January, midweek maybe modest delivery. Weather already gorgeous and temperatures up pleasant, start from Krma at -17C upon return to valley -12C.
due to the small amount of snow the path follows the summer route1
a view that always impresses me2
slowly setting off with full winter gear amid very nice views to the summit3
snow is scarce and most sinkholes are exposed, in places also icy4
Some scrambling over rocks5
Along the ridge a pleasant path6
View towards the hut7
At the tower8
Everything in the palm of the hand... enjoyed the views and pleasant temperatures9
It was time to return10
On the traverse there is little snow and consequently it is already quite icy, caution11
Excited, heading to the valley, hope we meet again soon in the kingdom12

This probably isn't the right forum, but I can't find a more suitable one. Quite by chance I stumbled upon dozens of postcards of Aljaž Tower from around 1910 onwards. I somehow sorted and scanned them, they are available here: http://modrinaneba.blogspot.si/2017/02/razglednice-aljazevega-stolpa.html

I'm looking at those old postcards. I was up there first time in 1973. But I don't remember the tower that well.

Interesting and praiseworthy. If you show up at Mojstrana museum with the documentation, they'll surely be glad.
