From Monday on snow will start to disappear, inversion will be big. Tomorrow's ascent shouldn't cause issues, early hour recommended

Already on Thursday the snow wasn't the best for grip. And it was about minus 4. Especially on those parts where the cables are under the snow and there's a slope, you need to be very careful. If there's less snow there, you seek support for the ice axe pick, and you don't know if it will hold or not. Especially the descent is much more demanding than the ascent itself. Just my opinion I shared. And I wish you a safe ascent.

On Friday, 24.3. on Triglav. You can now drive to Lese with a car, no more snow, though icy patches on the road here and there, but any car gets there. Started at 1:30. Sun strong in the morning already, snow was fine. Slight nuisance for me was light snowfall midway, tracks a bit covered - last one before me was on top Tuesday. On return to Kredarica crampons balling up, every few steps hit the crampons. Back to Krma some postholing here and there, nothing special. Early hour, golden hour, my recommendation. Anyway, yesterday up there some Poles, including a couple who said it's their first winter ascent. And of course, picked the highest Slovenian mountain. "Safety first," the guy told me checking his self-belay kit. Soon after crossing they turned back and descended safely, thank God.

Just adding to the previous description.
Today, Saturday, started from Krma at 3:00, on top at 8:00. Descent from summit to Kredarica very unpleasant especially where snow/ice just traces.
Probably next few days only getting worse, in a week at similar temps it'll be bare (almost).
From Kredarica back to valley at 11h sinking to ass...
If at all, go really early. Descent from top can be pleasure if before 9:00 (of course if sunny).
Otherwise summer hot, no breeze. Don't forget sunscreen...

Me too today "quickly" jumped on Triglav. Start around 5:30 from parking in Lese, 8:15 at Kredarica then after good coffee and short break around 9:00 to summit. On return conditions from Mali Triglav to first crossing (cca 10:45) already really bad. Some people despite that only then from Kredarica headed to top.
Views as always in such weather - top notch.

Hi, a question for the upcoming days - I plan to go to Kredarica on Thursday afternoon and then early Friday morning to the summit.
If anyone was up there these days - what's the path to Kredarica like (track?) or how much sinking can I expect in the afternoon hours? Regarding ascent to the summit or expected snow conditions - is there still enough snow or already more icy/rocky on some parts?

@robertk28 I was up on Friday. Excellent track to Kredarica, shouldn't sink much. To the summit icy in a few spots, but ice axes gripped.

Dear all, I need advice.
This is my plan for the hike to Triglav.
All together it will last 4 days.
Day 1.
Start from Rudno polje - Vodnikov dom - Dom na Kredarici (sleeping)
Day 2.
From Kredarica to Triglav - from Triglav to Dom Planika - then to Dom na Doliču. (sleeping) 
Day 3.
And now the problem comes because nowhere can I find what the trail is like - from Doliča to koča na Prehodavcih? I read that there is also a trail over the Hribarice pass - does anyone know something about that trail?
The plan is to descend to the koča at Triglav Lakes by the end of the third day
Day 4.
From Triglav Lakes to koča pri Savici
Otherwise, more of us are going, at the beginning of the 8th month.
Every piece of advice is welcome,

Path over Hribarice is marked, maintained and easier than path over Kanjavčeve police.
