The warden has no desire (maybe not even authority) to collect parking fees. Parking meter or nothing.

To avoid misunderstanding, the attendant issued us a parking ticket via the parking meter, because we couldn't pay with three different cards, as the parking meter doesn't accept cash. We didn't complain about the price either, as we split the costs. It is true, however, that the occupancy at that time was noticeably lower compared to previous years.

Friendliness is like snow. It beautifies everything it covers. (GIBRAM) That will hold true. Although Friday was a nice start. I listened to the weather forecast that it would be a day without afternoon thunderstorms. I went, I didn't even know exactly where yet. Wherever it takes me. I decide to go from Log to Zadnjica valley. Via Komar. I hadn't walked there for a few years. If I had been earlier it would have been even better. But the long drive makes the tour a bit longer. No problem. At 6:30 I started walking. Quickly greeted in Zadnjca and promised to stop for a chat on the way back as usual. The path through Komar was in the shade. Then, when I passed Dolič, the summer sun was at work. I was quite surprised that there was no crowd in Bovška škrbina. Not even towards the top. But at the top full of hikers coming and going. A lot of Croatian speakers could be heard. For the descent I chose Komar. And cooled off there by the water. Where you go lower over the little bridge the stream bed is dry. The day was really as forecasted. Sometimes it happens that the meteorologists don't make mistakes. nasmeh(16.8. 2024)

I was also on Triglav today 17.8.2024. Start from Krma around 2:30 via Kurica to Planika then to Triglav and return via Kredarica to Krma. I was lucky to overtake groups of hikers towards Triglav, as Darinka said mostly Croats so I was lucky and there was no excessive crowd at the top, on the return hikers like "ants". Weather was wonderful.
Best regards

Because mountain guides to Triglav mostly lead from Krma, we decided after the long closure of the valley to somewhat maintain the path from that valley to Kredarica.

For this purpose last week I brought iron rakes up and raked the upper 15 minutes of the path. The rakes were left by the path so other guides could continue my work.

Today, after less than a week, the rakes have already disappeared. I don't understand what kind of moron you have to be to take them down to the valley. With this poor attempt I've stopped maintaining this path myself. Shame, as with the idea the path could be smoothed in less than a month.

Hi everyone!
I have a question, we'd arrive from Zagreb Friday evening and return Sunday evening. We'll pay parking for Sat and Sun but would like to avoid paying for Friday. We plan to come after 8 pm.
Question is does anyone know until when parking payment is checked? I assume no more checks late afternoon/evening?
Any info welcome.
Best regards

What a moron you must be to go "smoothing" the path to Kredarica. Best to smooth the path to the top then it's done.

Guessing the motivation of people heading to Triglav in high season... amid all pathless areas where you meet no one all day, sight of a standing queue is really horrific.... already end of September it can be solitary and more so in winter...

“Herd instinct” appears also in winter, in some gullies and also on Triglav. Which is more dangerous than in summer.
Never understood what draws them into a gully with a bunch of people ahead, and loose rocks at the top.
But if someone voluntarily cleans the path, only praiseworthy.
