From your experiences and weather forecast, do you think that the ascent to Triglav will be safe on Monday 2.8. already?

I also plan to go to the summit on Monday, but I'm not sure if the conditions will be suitable. The forecast is sunny for Sunday and Monday, but newly fallen snow must be considered... Please for an opinion

I don't know the answer for Triglav; but I'm interested if it would still be suitable tomorrow to go from planina Blato to Koča pri Triglavskih jezerih? Thanks for the answer

Still suitable? Depending on what? The path is easy and suitable for tomorrow's forecast, even to Prehodavci and Dolič will be ok, depending on where you want to overnight, if at all. For Triglav best call Kredarica and they'll tell you first-hand conditions info. This snow has definitely messed it up good. Rock will slip. But it's summer, rock warm and if high temps, snow on path will probably melt fast. Not necessarily. Nice weekend in Julijci, I'm heading tomorrow to Kamniške. Andrej

@andrejp I also would like to head tomorrow to kamniške or to kamniško sedlo via this path http://pest.si/sto Given it's rained quite a bit now, is it safe to go? Will rocks dry somewhat?

I'll head to Repov kot and Srebrno sedlo and Planjava. I'll set off a bit later so at height in rock hopefully already in sun. Since probably no snow on this path and well protected it seems fully suitable to me. But always be careful if wet, and even on dry rock be cautious. That's how it is in hills. Enjoy and safe step

On Kredarica 25cm snow fell, so I'm also in dilemma if I'll go or stay home maybe just to Kredarica. For information on tomorrow's weather and snow condition on Kredarica call 04 531 2864 or 04 531 2866 Nice regards and luck, maybe see you on Kredarica!

Given known conditions on Kredarica and Triglav, it interests me if it would be safe tomorrow to depart to Triglav and what equipment should there be if we set off? Thanks for answer

Yeah, this morning there was 15 cm of new snow on Kredarica. Tomorrow it'll be around 4°C there so the snow should melt. If possible, I recommend going on Sunday, as it forecasts a sunny, warm day without fog and storms. Regarding gear, I think you won't need an ice axe and crampons, but take warm clothes anyway, it'll be cold.

Let's rather go to Triglav on Wednesday, hope the snow melts by then and weather improves

This snow also somewhat ruined my plans, because I planned to run to Triglav via Triglav Lakes. We'll see what the Kredarica webcam shows tonight.

But I'd still go up tomorrow... can't be that much snow higher up. If it's 4 degrees it'll melt by tomorrow.

350m higher there is even more of it, and right between Kredarica or Planika and Triglav summit great caution is needed, let alone when snow hinders us, I can't imagine going up in the snow.
