Has anyone been in the last days on Tominškova to Kredarica and further to Triglav? I would ask him for the (current) path condition. Thanks.

@123skala From the comments it's clear that the path is passable without issues.

I posted a stupid question, I meant what are the snow conditions on the path (Krma-Planika-Triglav), are crampons and ice axe needed. Nice regards Janez

You don't need crampons and ice axe. Take a helmet though!

I'm wondering about the beds at Kredarica... can you reserve a room with two beds or are there only rooms with more beds? And how much in advance do you need to reserve? I'd go sometime in August. Thanks for the answer

At Kredarica they also have a room with two beds, I've already slept in one like that. Regarding reservation and crowds it depends when you go. Around 15th August there's a big crowd.

They also have rooms with double bed, I've slept in one too, but unfortunately no shower with hot water, although you can get that through connections.

Which route to Triglav is easier, from Kredarica or from Planika hut?

Planika is easier than from Kredarica, and usually from Kredarica there's a crowd

Given that Kredarica is already almost "all inclusive" ... Maybe through connections one can get something for the double bed too. Well, in that case shower would really be almost obligatory. Enough joking. Already Tine Mihelič knew to say that the easiest path to Triglav is from Dolič.

Pajade. When I called info, they told me the easiest to Triglav is via Verovškova

Definitely the easiest route to Triglav is over Bovška Škrbina from ZTP direction. In winter of course from Kredarica and then it's actually the nicest.

Has anyone hiked the Tominšek route in the last few days? What's the current condition? Are there still any dangerous snowfield crossings? Thanks.

How does the route to Triglav via Dolič hut over Triglav notch to the summit compare to the Italian route on Mangart (difficulty)? Thanks.

No big differences. But wear a helmet on your head.

Is there still any snow on the route to Triglav summit from Planika or Kredarica? Is winter gear still needed?
