Both routes to the summit are dry, as is the path from Dolič, and no winter gear needed.

Before reaching the hut, there are still occasional short snowfields, but nothing problematic.

On Monday (19.7) via Tominšek to Kredarica, Tuesday to Triglav summit and via Kredarica and Rž to V. Vrbanova špica and Stanič hut, Wednesday sunrise on Begunjski vrh and then descent via prag to Vrata. Paths passable without issues, no crowds in Kredarica hut and Stanič hut (got a room for two no problem nasmeh ). Spring under Begunjski vrh without water. Snow along the path just right to cool beer and feetnasmeh.

Yesterday at 04.00 start from Krma, three hours to Planika, snack and coffee then over Triglav notch to summit. From Planika to the entry into the wall under Triglav notch there is a gentle snowfield that doesn't require winter gear. The next snowfield is right under the notch, but you can nicely bypass it to the right on rocks. The rest of the path is completely dry. Fixed protections OK. At 09.00 on summit, weather wonderful, views superb, climbers like ants. One hour break for pleasures and christening of friend who climbed Triglav for the first time, then descent via Mali Triglav to Planika. After lunch descent to Konjsko sedlo, detour to Vodnikov dom and then via Bohinjska vrata back to Krma. Nice tournasmehnasmehnasmeh

Tomorrow we plan to head to Triglav and hike for two days, I'm wondering which route you recommend and what you think about the weather. I have to say we've prepared well for this ascent, but the weather worries us the most.
Best regards and thanks in advance for your opinionsnasmeh

Tomorrow's weather forecast for Julijce is bad, afternoon snow showers at 2570m, weather will somewhat stabilize only from Friday on. Definitely need to follow weather conditions for Triglav ascent and especially advice from weathermen at Kredarica, since there's lots of iron to the top!.

Hi, I've also been deciding for some time to head to Triglav and I'm also interested in opinion of some experienced mountaineer, whether I can go by the weather forecast that's on this site....it's hard to coordinate time and weather...but I won't go at any cost...best to all.

Tomorrow will be ok for Triglav, in the afternoon you might get some small shower at least that's what ALADIN maps and other forecasts show.

Viharnik, as I read from your reply this week best to wait till Friday when weather will settle (if it will)...is it possible to get accommodation for four persons for the weekend? LP

Up there are rooms as I recall also for just four persons, but need to reserve room type in advance at Kredarica. Nice, I wish you the highest tour to our Father.

I also plan to head towards Triglav probably on Saturday looks like good weather, otherwise I don't say anything serious before Wednesday, because I have the habit for mountains to start monitoring weather from Wednesday on, then decide for full day tour or just morning before lunch.
Good luck and best regards!

Yes, tomorrow Očak Triglav will be freshly whitewashed, snow line around 2300m. Tomorrow I'll also head to some peak in Pokljuka mountains, higher up until Saturday, when it clears, it's not advisable to hike in such weather.velik nasmeh

Tomorrow I think not even for Šmarna gora, let alone Julijce. Stronger thunderstorms and downpours will continue during the day.

I'm interested in Saturday, if it's okay to go to Triglav after the rain, because it's supposedly dangerous due to slipping nasmeh
