I'm interested in conditions on the path between Dolič and Triglav (snow, ice). Thanks in advance.

Hi. Wondering where to check accommodation at Kredarica (phone number, website, anything) and what experienced hikers recommend for Sat-Sun weather. We're mostly amateurs, first time on Triglav.

When you need such data go to the official page of the Alpine Association of Slovenia, you'll find all the numbers there too. LP!

Oh, what will the weather be this weekend - tomorrow and Sunday on Triglav. Everywhere says rain, snow... here I see forecast sun. We already cancelled Triglav, now I see maybe it will be nice weather after all? Shall we go up?

I'm not going anywhere, two reasons: work and weather, be sensible!

We went via Tominšek on 2.9.2010 and there was no snow. A bit more caution is needed in the wall to M.Triglav if you go from Kredarica. The N wall right at the entrance to the wall was a bit icy. So be careful and have lots of enjoyment. L.p.

To all who thought about it today but didn't go to Triglav, you might regret it. The weather held. At the start in Vrata it was foggy and humid in the morning, but through Luknja and Plemenice, the sun also shone. Not many people at the top. Descent to Kredarica, then via Tominšek to the car in Vrata. Fixed protections on the entire route in good condition, spent a nice day. To all safe steps and take care of yourselves wherever you will be. Lp Matjaz

Mountains are eternal, people are not. There will still be time to visit the mountains, if not tomorrow, next year or in 5 years.

Or vice versa, as Francelj once said under Špica, that he goes to the mountains because soon the time will come when there will be no more time...

Go to the mountains while there is still time, because the time will come when there is no more time, and soon that time will be!

I had in mind a circular route Koča pri Savici-Komna-Seven Lakes-Dolič or to Kredarica. Next day to Triglav - Planika - Stara Fužina. Interested if a bus runs from Stara Fužina to Savica waterfall or if there's another path from Planika to Savica. Also interested where it is best to sleep: Dolič or Kredarica and if for next week it is necessary to reserve beds in advance for approx. 6-8 people?

I suggest you park the car at Pl. Blato and do the circular route as I did this year - description on p.12, or in the other direction as I did last year when you go from Pl. Blato along the hunting but signposted path towards Pl. Grintovici and then join the path from Voj to Vodnikov dom. If you really want to go from Savica to Savica then variant from Vodnikov dom over Lazovški preval, Pl. Laz, Pl. pri jezeru to Pl. Viševnik from where you descend to Savica. For the weekend surely need to reserve beds, regarding sleeping personally I like Dolič better. As it looks now the weekend will be nice, so have a good time.
