Yesterday on Triglav from Vrata via Plemenice, then to Kredarica and down via Prag. Super sunny day with very nice views. Warning, path from Kredarica is icy on north side, great caution needed.

Morning was weather-wise shaky, but the experts said sun and I went. Hadn't even reached Luknja when it was mostly clear everywhere, and proper wind picked up. Up Bambergova as usual, snow starts at top of wall, last exit chimney mostly bare, then great snow conditions all the way to top. Since snow in shady spots is hard and frozen, good winter boots, crampons, ice axe, helmet, hat and wool gloves essential. No tracks from Planika and Kredarica directions. On return stopped at Dolič, chatted a bit, then to valley. Oh Dolič open presumably until around Oct 10, lots of work left.

down there is Planika, from where it's probably easiest to the summit when no snow

my god how much snow, Lučka says soon it won't fall at all anymore

Aljaž is still standing, but down in the chicken coop they don't dare to put up a copy

I thought some Gorenjec would climb up, but no tracks

since there was no one to talk to, I'm going back down, and it still stands proudly up there for a long time

Exceptional tour, from the pictures it's clear how much snow fell, end of the week, if nice up to 2500m bare, but I doubt

Well, well, well mountain lover nice of you to care for winter idyll on peaks, once Grintovci another Julici dunno if you're waiting for peaks whitened and think season closed when snow falls put summer gear in closet winter out and off to peaks.

Just the opposite, I'm waiting for the peaks not to be fogged, I always do it that way, once KSA, once Julian Alps, third Karawanks. Last trip was Prisojnik, now KSA from Logarska Valley.

I have no winter gear at all, not even summer gear, helmet, climbing clothes, nothing, just boots and poles.

And isn't it weird, snow on Triglav, bare on Škrlatica, or am I wrong and there's also snow in the gullies on Škrlatica?

Yesterday I went up from Vrata past Luknja, across Plemenice and then via Škrbina to Triglav summit. Descent over Prag and back to Aljažev dom... Conditions were actually quite pleasant summer-like for high mountains.
Individual small snow patches only on northern slopes, that's just a sample of new snow. Also secured climbing paths from Kredarica, Planika and Dolič are bare.
"Visit" of course expected with nice weather was quite massive given we're almost mid-October.
