Since I seem to know the person, I'll have to do a memorial tour along Grofovski gr and Železarski dov. Where exactly was the place of the unfortunate event and the candle?

I'll probably go from Križan gor on Saturday. How about the direct path through the forest? Is it trodden?

I was up there today via the Železarska path from Ivarčko Lake. The path is nicely trodden (like a bob track), only fog and a huge amount of snow bother. At the top I don't know if there isn't 2 m, so it's best to stick to the path, otherwise the poles don't find the bottom nasmeh

I was up from Sleme on Saturday, April 6.
To Križan bp, then across Šisernik meadows the path indicated, not yet trodden in the morning and ski tracks. From Šisernik chapel onwards into the forest along the classic route, but I quickly decided (due to wet snow and untrodden path) for the Winter variant and then along the road further. Last part of the path again classic.

At the top there is snow, at least that's what the RTV operators said, approx. 2.5 m, in drifts even more.

On the way back it was already all south-facing, but I still went through the forest along the classic and enlarged the track that someone before me had started.

Weather was bad, visibility even worse, but better days are coming! mežikanje

Inventory yesterday on Uršlja. Železarska surprisingly compact for jt gr, seems agreement must go it. Snow is quite a lot, on top nicely melting, even flies waking up. Still candles in memory of tragic event. Road nicely packed, ratrak did it. Luck, two chamois on snack. Last ridge already bit sinking.
Snow starts right away from Ivarčkega.1

Nice, Domč, I see that the Mountain is still quite deep buried in snow so due to drought anyway no worry what summer.

On Saturday I went via Grofovska gr. First part dry, then was but quite strenuous sinking, with snow made path gr. Top first cloudy, then cleared up was pure blue sky, warm even lots, so snow on top probably holds until May 1st.

Ivarčko-Uršlja, Železarska path: there's almost no snow left, just here and there some patch with a little snow.

I was up there on Thursday. From Ivarčko gr via Grofovska zad then Železarska. Snow still from spring gr through forest then from Jesus to top patches. In that part I got chilled by a shower. View was stormy, weather just right not too hot not too cold.

We snails were up on 20 April from Naravske ledine, weather still quite solid snow but upper half good meter, and first annoyingly south-facing so descended preferably around road, because less sinking.

Please help nasmeh. This is taken from Uršlja gora. Which mountain is on the left edge of the photo - marked with red? I admit, I captured it poorly, but at that time I didn't know I'd ask about it. The left side of the sought mountain, which isn't visible in this photo, has a quite "cut-off" shape. I've observed the mountain from a completely different end, namely from Polhograjska Grmada. Could it be Rogatec?

You are right, it is Rogatec. Whether it's visible from Polhograjska grmada I don't know. I'll check at the first opportunity.

Today from Poštarski dom over Kozarnica to Uršlja gora. In the afternoon there was still some free time left, so we chose the path to the Mountain. It is completely dry, but not too dry to walk without obstacles. Regards.

Yesterday and today back to Uršlja. Yesterday from Ivarček via Železarska and Grofovska afternoon hike, nice warm and sunny up there. Today from Poštarski over Kal up, Kozarnica down, it was even three-time Taft. Up cold like hell before it showed icy rain, gloves and hat were needed. In this weather it's better to go up in the afternoon, because in the evening the weather always gets better. The path is a bit muddy in places, towards Trdinov vrh it's Sahara.mežikanje

Today ascent via Železarska path, descent via Grofovska. Železarska path wet / muddy, while the condition on Grofovska is exactly the opposite. On the slopes and meadows below the hut, daffodils are wonderfully blooming in white and yellow. nasmeh

Conditions today are no different, still the better choice is Grofovska from Ivarček, from Poštarski over Kal. But it was nice up there today, despite the bad forecast.
