Saturday and Sunday up there. Saturday cloudy with a wide view, yesterday sunny but not so wide. Good 10 cm of snow. Both most trodden paths are slippery in the upper part. Small crampons help. Less crowded paths are not slippery.

Uršlja is almost completely dry, offered quite a lot of sun, beautiful views and also some cold wind.

Regarding the recent snowfall, I'm interested if it's possible from the cross at Ciganija onwards along the road with skis?

Snow is about 30 cm, and the road from Ciganija to Križan is plowed. I think it's not recommended because there's too little snow and lots of rocks.

Hi.
Interested in conditions on the path to Uršlja gora via Ledine or Ivarčko lake. Are crampons mandatory?

Paths to Uršlja gora have been well trodden for a couple of days after the snowfall. Exception is the path from Poštarski dom.
From Ivački lake, those small crampons-chains are highly recommended, over the weekend lots of visitors and the path is trodden - icy.

for ascent you don't need crampons, useful for descent, though icy patches can be bypassed (where they are icy). But step is safer or ass, with microspikes 
speaking for the path from Ivarčko lake.

At 8 pm we set off from Črna to Žerjav and then towards Jazbina. Already the road leading to the gorge was very icy. The track to Obretanovo is also icy. Trail to Ledine is mostly dry. Then towards Uršlja, some dry bits, most of the path in ice. Descent to Križan also has quite a few icy spots in the upper part. At one icy spot, despite chains, it nicely laid me down. Road from Križan towards the ridge is dry.

Bravo team - real promoters of K24. I was there on Saturday around. For warm-up along Grofovska to Črni vrh, then to Uršlja summit; below summit sharp cold wind cutting into faces and fingers. On summit quite pleasant in the sun and not so windy. Descent along power lines and Kozji hrbet then jump to Hom (lots of fallen trees, impassable to the other side along the ridge). Return same way and back to Ivarčko. Nice loop with three peaks over 1000m.

Loop from Ivarčko to Ivarčko over three peaks higher than 1000 m above sea level (Črni vrh, Uršlja gora, Hom).

From Ivarčki lake
It started snowing at 800m altitude. Around 15 cm of new snow at hut altitude or by the cross, of course where not windblown.

In the afternoon on Uršlja gora a real winter with strong wind and snowfall, about 25 cm of snow. Real pleasure to hike.
