Today we welcomed a beautiful sunrise on Velika Planina. Magnificently beautiful, air washed clean, cold wind takes nothing away but adds finally at least a bit of winter feeling! It was really worth getting out of the warm bed at 4:20... Unfortunately, the camera was forgotten at home. Next time. Otherwise all main paths, especially roads in places very icy, so crampons highly recommended! And warm clothes of course! Safe travels!

The road to Kranjski Rak is bare and dry, higher towards Marjanine Njive already quite icy, especially meeting is difficult. Well, but one shouldn't drive to the door anyway... Safe travels! Tomorrow another nice day, next weekend... We hope for finally some snow.

Today past Sv. Primož to Velika Planina. Already quite some snow at Primož, further on real winter idyll. Wind disturbed enjoyment on snow and sun a bit, but worth it. Path well trodden.

From the pictures it's clear that on Velika Planina there's plenty of work for people with cameras and you get a proper workout too, unless you don't care about your health. Many more such days, your dad wishes you.

On the next photo trip I'll fix this, it's still better to add a bit of blue on the camera than computer-processed.....

... I don't process our photos like that ... and not like that, they are as the human eye can see them in nature. best regards!

Any adding of colors is unnecessary, although it's true that every eye has its own painter and painters are damn different too. If someone likes snow to be blue and midday shots dark as if taken at full moon, let it be to their liking. They even made that famous cow purple and kids don't experience any traumas because of it

True, what you say ... But kids no longer know the real cow that grazes and lives on the farm. for them the cow is just - Violetka.

Of course they only think of chocolate and not the cow Sure, changing natural colors is totally off for me, both in ads and photos. We go to mountains because of nature as it is, most. Not all, some like it rosier, help themselves with filters or a couple of schnapps in the hut But we can argue about this to exhaustion, who had it nicer, since together as we know we can never go.

Photography today allows all possible effects when photographing, but they need to be used correctly or sensibly for the benefit of the artistic image of the photo. If we photograph sunrise or sunset, orange emphasis somehow fits, for waterfalls, rivers or sea, then blue. Snow is naturally white and any other color is foreign to human eye and not pleasing, at least for me. Of course much depends on weather conditions and time of day we photograph, that we all know well.

jprim, instead of you the digital camera already processes the photos - according to the data processing algorithms captured by the sensor. For at least approximately accurate color capture one would need to manually set white balance before each shot (Engl. White balance), then there is also saturation, contrasts, sharpness...

Don't process images because it's immediately noticeable, but straight from the digital camera onto the mountains. All unprocessed images are wonderful.
