A while ago I noticed the note from the attached picture and remembered the hot debates on toll about a year ago.

Now you know, not everyone who smiles friendly at you is your friend nasmeh This reminds me of some fable about a sparrow the fox pulls from the tree.

My remark. True, lately more trash is noticeable, but tourists surely didn't completely litter Kofca cave or Mala Kofce, as most don't even know about them (though right under their noses).

To Tavelko, ⬆️ from Kalcit to Primož for ☕️ then across pastures to Domžalec for refreshment, ⬇️ to Kisovec plateau to hut at Kisovec and down the lower path back to Primož and to the valley., 18/09/2021

First Saturday in October, hut keepers' goulash on Velika Planina at Veliki stan, our alpine rose often, me first time. Three female hikers started the trail in Krivčevo at Jurček, past Frenk and left to Kisovec plateau. On the way met no one, on plateau nice gathering of hut keepers, acquaintances. Distributed awards, handed key, goulash excellent. In valley foggy, on plateau beautiful blue, later fog lifted and cleared below...At Jarški hut then coffee and one portion walnut struklji, just right for all three.
We can be grateful Velika Planina has been preserved as it is.

Some today's afternoon snapshots from Velika starting point - Kranjski Rak starting point. Road from Kranjski Rak to Rakove Ravni parking lot is closed. Notice. We inform you that from 8.9.2021 to 30.11.2021 due to road surfacing there will be occasional partial and full closure of local road LC 161161 – PLANINA (Kranjski Rak – Rakove Ravni) length approx 1700 m.
Works from Monday to Friday, occasional full closure possible Monday to Thursday between 11:00 and 14:00. No detour during full closure.

Walk across the plateau with ascent to some hills. Starting point: parking lot Za Ušivcem
To the first hill above Dovja raven pasture (name Mala griča or something else), second hill before Koritni vrh (name?), third Koritni vrh, fourth classic both Gradišča viewpoints. Since plateau has many hills, not mountains, wouldn't hurt to have small summit signs with names. Nice path with some snow patches. More at: https://www.gore-ljudje.si/Objavljalci/koritni-vrh

I was there on Monday, snow already from Kr.Rak onwards, road plowed, with skis on the forest path (marked) no problem.

Main trails on the plateau are already trampled or ratracked again, if you go off-piste without touring skis or snowshoes you sink up to half a meter. Jarški dom is open mežikanje
