Hi!
Has anyone been to Veliki vrh from Kofce today? What are the conditions after yesterday's "storm?" What is the avalanche risk? Thanks for the reply. Regards

Today on the Košuta ridge, at the top of Kofce mountain. From Kofce to the ridge, the path is nicely routed directly up the ridge. No one has trodden towards Veliki vrh yet, but no track was visible towards Kladivo either. Snow is dry, it crumbles underfoot, 30-50 cm deep. It sinks deeply in places. Will have to wait some more for proper snow conditions.

I was also heading to Veliki vrh with a colleague today. At the top of Kofce gore we rather decided to go right to Mali and Veliki Kladivo, because visibility was better and also under the ridge to Veliki vrh there was already some slid. Neither to Veliki vrh nor to Kladivo has been trodden, or now at least a bit to Kladivo has been, because we made the track today.

Avalanche-prone... except last time it was 1st degree and "safe" for ascent to the Great Peak or Kladivo.

Today I was there. Weather super, on the summit very windy , which deterred me from going to Kladivo too.
On the last ascent there is still quite a lot of snow. I was without crampons but recommend them to you.
