I almost laugh reading some comments about terminology ... if someone knew mountaineering terminology they'd know what pasture, hill, mountain mean etc and that's how the one who lounges up there is named in the library for a book

VanSims: then I'm on the wrong forum, since I go to hills in wellies, flannel shirt and braces, only beard missing for your stereotypical description

With the roses you sometimes have to be a "hero" too to look at them closer...

Dejan, I wouldn't agree with you about this forum. Here you can read lots of useful tips, browse beautiful pics of our mountains and of course run into some polemics. They are sometimes maybe a bit too extensive or repetitive, but I see in them mainly a good school for improving one's personality. Since you're still relatively young, you could learn a lot from some folks up here who know how to talk nicely and argumentatively with others, even if they sometimes get some bitter remarks. A good example is Franci, who always says something positive, helps everyone with questions - even if they're sometimes a bit weird, doesn't stint and doesn't get into fights. I also like learning from such people and expect that we mountaineers and mountain lovers are always friendly to others, especially to less experienced hikers. I wish you a full recovery as soon as possible and many more beautiful moments in our mountains.

Nicely written slavkoa. Hard to add anything more. The forum is for exchanging opinions, discussion, getting useful info... That's why to me it's completely obvious that if someone asks something, they get answered respectfully too. We all deserve normal communication and respectful treatment, not various cynical remarks and insults. The communication style says a lot about a person's personality and moral stance. I won't even delve into what that is like for the individual for whom all the others here on the forum are kekci.

Forum Hribi.net... Mountains... nice thing, very nice.. in nature!! But on this forum.. And who's to blame for it being like this??? Everyone knows who has the power to simply remove all the mental patients present here from the forum. And when they log in again under the same or another name, remove again... and again and again.. Ajnfoh... But obviously the administrator(s) like the chasing on this forum, which has nothing to do with Mountains... Otherwise he would probably act, and not just delete some individual post occasionally when it really gets too much... Maybe it would be time to replace the administrator...

It's interesting how some imagine that this forum is somehow "theirs", so it has to be this-or-that or nothing. Some even go so far as to "replace the administrator". TU MAČ, really!!!

By the way - since apparently some don't get it. The "conditions" forum is just a tiny part of the Hribi.net site, one of the best and most useful sites we have. It has an incredible amount of really good info about mountains. The "Conditions" forum is just blah blah, sometimes something useful, often not.

Admin and moderator are Tadej and Rok, who created this portal, it's been running since around 2006/07. I still remember 5-6 years ago when some others who had hiked a lot in mountains before this portal also participated here. I remember the user turbota best, one day we even met in the mountains.

We all know that @lizika is the one who jumps into debates always at the right time to cause discord and fights. We know she's just a provoker here on the forum and nothing else. She never wrote even one contribution, gave no advice, never participated constructively in debates. Just provokes! She looks at mountains only from afar. Obviously her aim is to destroy this portal. It depends on the admins whether they'll allow it or not. The portal is theirs as @LG said. Blocking @lizika would solve three-quarters of the problems!

You don't hold back either @VanSims. Why should I stay quiet with such a drip like Redbull, if he can insult everyone left and right, no need to spare him. Totally right @lizika, don't let him get away, good for him. Many on the forum that @Redbull mocked and made fun of have more mountaineering years than this guy is old. Keep liking him, he'll shit on your head sooner or later.

If you look back at my posts a bit, you'll see I didn't exactly praise @redbull and I criticized him a little too. This debate that has now turned into this started when I said that @redbull should have realized on Vransko that the weather wasn't exactly for the mountains. So it's not true at all that I'm defending him. On the other hand, it's true that something like that can happen to anyone. We've all been on the edge sometime. Admit it! Me too! And not once. We can't judge! For illustration of what @lizika stated in the part of the debate that the admin moved to Accidents in the mountains (the administrator unfortunately deleted it, but in my opinion he shouldn't have, so we can see how extremely stupid and morally low someone can be): "Bulči, next time you're lying under a wall, they'll leave you there in peace . . . you know, kekci You're not worth help, too bad you didn't fly headfirst, that might have helped you"

This is just the result of what @redbull wrote to her before. Sending someone to the stable and tying to the manger, well I don't know. You two with @lizika are also a bit short-circuited lately, especially now for some time. Then you only see her words and overlook others. Of course a slip can happen to anyone, but if you're always walking right on the edge, it happens even sooner. Underestimating conditions and overestimating yourself is the perfect combo for trouble. I got chills too when he wrote, do you need ice axe crampons no, well at least I wouldn't, ice can be chipped with shoes. But it was the west face of Razor. If you go around like that sooner or later you'll crash somewhere. An accident like the one that happened to him can't happen to everyone, but only to the one who breaks multiple rules and he did.

Given what @lizika has already written on this forum, it's just coming back to her. And she doesn't care... For her it's only important to provoke. Such 'people' walk over corpses and they don't care at all what others think and say about them. Their heart is stone, soul black, conscience they have none at all. With such behavior they heal who knows what traumas from everyday life As I said, I don't defend @redbull at all, the weather wasn't ideal which maybe divine providence (@viharnik would probably explain that better) wanted to tell him already on Vranskem. But I can't judge him and his accident like many of you here. How he was equipped I don't know, what happened I don't know either, what the conditions up there were like specifically I only know from what others said,...
