Serious error or something else. Najdi still doesn't work. Some time ago, this error already appeared. Then Mr. Rok fixed it very quickly.

The issue with Najdi search is not new. It finds what we often search for. But it answers negatively to many queries. If you type the same into Google, the link to Hribi.net is almost always first.
I assume there's something seriously wrong with the Hribi.net servers, as it can't even find all mountains, peaks, huts etc. that already have descriptions on Hribi.net.
Even today, via Google you can search and find all descriptions on Hribi.net, as it links you directly.
I think a thorough overhaul of the search engine is needed.

This search on hribi.net often doesn't work, or (as @julius described) doesn't find even the content on its own site.
Well, to me it's not a big issue; just type in Google e.g. "hribi razor", and it takes you straight to the Razor path description on hribi.net.

I always search under "search for hikes" and under the "current conditions" search, and always get everything

... I understand that financing is needed so everything works together. But there have never been as many ads as there are now; at the bottom, top, across the whole screen. And it repeats 5x, 6x insanely. .

I agree with you...Regarding financing it's like this, if this portal could be created without any ads and users made it so successful as it is now, the owner obviously doesn't realize that due to such greedy (why not take what someone offers you regardless of consequences and feelings of those involved...well capitalism and more...) moves he can also lose those same users who enabled the owner to market this portal so successfully now...and he doesn't care at all about the pushiness and unfriendliness of these ads to us users. How much longer? Competition is huge, just peek at FB and you'll see where more posts are already now and obviously even more will be...Best regards.

I must express disappointment over my deleted comment. I mentioned an app with which you can solve the problem of annoying ads. Since I see nothing controversial in it, it's legal software after all, I'd ask for a public explanation. Do we users of this portal have to watch your ads?

Yeah well! Owner has to get something too.. After all he has some work... and site maintenance costs quite a bit too. He surely hasn't gotten rich off the site Not saying some ads couldn't be less. Otherwise for 30 eur/year payment you can remove them, but that's too much for us because we want everything free Maybe hint to Tadej that more users might opt for ad removal at slightly lower price.

We are obviously a freebie nation. Socialism and its leftovers are gone. Anything we don't see 3D we have no sense for costs. Hribi.net as excellent site must survive somehow with ads. Like commercial radio/TV without subscription. But other side RTV Ljubljana has lots of ads too and we pay sub yet no fuss. Enough of my tiring. Full praise both admins. Luck and success ahead!

If you want less ads just finance site existence yourselves. This portal actually has very very few ads so not annoying. Just check other site.
Anyway that's how it is here. Full praise to creators but they should get something too, no. Then you're villain.
I just hope enough will and money for portal continues, facebook up facebook down. After all lots of sponsored posts there too, ads plain said.

Once upon a time somewhere... was great hiking forum on PZS site where even top alpinist eminences wrote lots useful and instructive. When renovating site forum gone, many posts worth dry gold at least for mountaineering museum due to author or content, to hell... And since they did, we who like useless world more than useful wanted to keep sharing feelings experiences impressions from mountain jaunts started posting here.
Hats off Tadej Rok and maybe others managing this bite. Ads annoying me again and again I handle cuz probably without them wouldn't be what it is.

Thanks to Tadej and Rok for everything they've done for us so that such a portal exists, many of us get veeeeeery useful information and we can be happy it exists, thanks also to other users who share data with us.

Despite long years of hiking "career" here I find ideas for new wanderings, undiscovered corners, also thanks to those who diligently post new discoveries and impressions from them.
