Krn

Description of mountain:
Krn, at 2244 m, is the highest peak of the Krn mountain group, which rises steeply above the central part of the Soča River. From the summit, featuring a panoramic table, there is a magnificent view extending from the Adriatic Sea across Matajur and Breginjski or Kobariški Stol to Kanin. To the north and east, there is a beautiful view of the highest peaks of the Julian Alps. On clear days, the visibility extends even farther.
