Riffelscharte

Description:
Riffelscharte is a saddle at an altitude of 2160 meters in the Wetterstein mountains. The saddle is located 5 km east from the center of Obermoos and 7 km northeast from the center of Ehrwald and 0.2 km north-northeast of peak Riffeltorkopf. The nearest mountain hut is Münchner Haus, located 2km south-southwest. A little further is Liegerlehütte (Jagdhütte). 1.4 km south-southwest from the saddle there is glacier Höllentalferner, 3 km southwest from the saddle there is also glacier Schneeferner. South-southwest of the saddle is the valley Gaistal.
