Untere Pfandlscharte is a saddle at an altitude of 2663 meters located in the High Tauern mountain range. The saddle is located 6 km north-northwest from the center of Winkl and 7 km northwest from the center of Heiligenblut. The nearest mountain hut is Glocknerhaus, located 3km south-southwest. A little further is Information Bricciuskapelle. 4 km southwest of the saddle there is lake Sandersee. 2 km east-northeast from the saddle there is glacier Brennkogelkees, 3 km west from the saddle there is also glacier Freiwandkees. The saddle is located southeast of the valley Käfertal.
