Gamskarköpfe is 2694 meter high peak located in the High Tauern mountain range. The peak is located 0.5 km northeast of peak Kapuziner. The nearest mountain hut is Trauneralm, located 3km northeast. A little further is bivouac Gruberscharten-Biwak. 4 km south-southwest of the peak there is lake Sandersee. 2 km west-southwest from the summit there is glacier Freiwandkees, 3 km east from the summit there is also glacier Brennkogelkees.
