Kapuziner is 2852 meter high peak located in the High Tauern mountain range. The peak is located 7 km north-northwest from the center of Winkl and 9 km northwest from the center of Heiligenblut. The nearest mountain hut is Trauneralm, located 3km northeast. A little further is bivouac Gruberscharten-Biwak. 4 km south-southwest of the peak there is lake Sandersee. 1.9 km west-southwest from the summit there is glacier Freiwandkees, 3 km east from the summit there is also glacier Brennkogelkees.
