Liebener Spitze is 3400 meter high peak with a cross in the Natural Park Gruppo di Tessa. The peak is located on the border between the country of Italy and the country of Austria. The nearest mountain hut is Zwickauer Hütte - Rifugio Plan, located 3km southwest. Closer is bivouac Rauhjoch Biwak, which is located 2.0km to the east. 0.7 km east-southeast from the summit there is glacier Hangender Ferner, 0.8 km northwest from the summit there is also glacier Gaisbergferner. West-northwest of the summit is the valley Gurgler Tal. The peak is located on the ridge Ötztaler Hauptkamm - Cresta principale Alpi Venoste.
