The nearest mountain hut is Zwickauer Hütte - Rifugio Plan, located 4km south-southwest. A bit closer is bivouac Rauhjoch Biwak, which is located 3km to the southeast. 0.6 km south-southeast from the saddle there is glacier Hochfirstferner, 0.9 km east-southeast from the saddle there is also glacier Westlicher Seeber Ferner.
