Description:
Nördliche Ferwallspitze is 2957 meter high peak and is part of the Natural Park Ötztal. The peak is located on the border between the country of Italy and the country of Austria. The nearest mountain hut is Zwickauer Hütte - Rifugio Plan, located 6km south-southwest. A bit closer is bivouac Rauhjoch Biwak, which is located 4km to the south-southeast. 3 km south from the summit there is glacier Gaisbergferner, 3 km south from the summit there is also glacier Hochfirstferner. The peak is located southeast of the valley Gurgler Tal. The peak is located on the ridge Ötztaler Hauptkamm - Cresta principale Alpi Venoste.
