Südliche Ferwallspitze

Description:
Südliche Ferwallspitze is 2996 meter high peak in the Natural Park Ötztal. The peak is located on the border between the country of Italy and the country of Austria. The nearest mountain hut is Zwickauer Hütte - Rifugio Plan, located 5km south-southwest. Closer is bivouac Rauhjoch Biwak, which is located 4km to the south-southeast. 0.7 km south-southwest from the summit there is glacier Östlicher Ferwallferner, 2 km south from the summit there is also glacier Hochfirstferner. Northwest of the summit is the valley Gurgler Tal. The peak is located on the ridge Ötztaler Hauptkamm - Cresta principale Alpi Venoste.
