Description:
Schneeiges Ferwalljoch is a saddle at an altitude of 2908 meters in the Natural Park Gruppo di Tessa. The saddle is located on the border between the country of Italy and the country of Austria. The nearest mountain hut is Zwickauer Hütte - Rifugio Plan, located 5km south-southwest. A bit closer is bivouac Rauhjoch Biwak, which is located 3km to the southeast. West-southwest from the saddle there is glacier Östlicher Ferwallferner, 0.7 km west-southwest from the saddle there is also glacier Westlicher Ferwallferner. Northwest of the saddle is the valley Gurgler Tal. The saddle is located on the ridge Ötztaler Hauptkamm - Cresta principale Alpi Venoste.
