In my latest video I take you on an unforgettable adventure where we will together conquer the ascent and descent to Stene svete Ane (964 m). Stene svete Ane is a forested peak located near the mountain hut at Sveta Ana on Mali gori, on which there is a viewpoint from which a beautiful view opens towards the Kamnik-Savinja Alps, Posavje and Zasavje hills and part of Dolenjska.

The trail starts in the town of Ribnica, which lies on Ribniško polje in southeastern Slovenia, on flat land between the elevations Mala gora and Velika gora. Ribnica is known for its rich history and cultural heritage.

On the way to the summit you will also visit the church of St. Anne, which stands in an exposed and panoramic location near the summit ridge of Mala gora at 920 m above sea level.

Hello, nature and mountain biking enthusiasts. In the video I show the descent with a mountain bike on the natural trail Peaks above Dobrovo, which rises to 603 meters, all the way to Dobrovo at 321 meters. Peaks above Dobrovo is a lesser-known but important peak in the extreme SE part of the Polhograjske Hills. The summit is very spacious and flat, nicely arranged at the top. Besides a bench there's a thermometer, a wish bell and lots of different inscriptions. Although there's no view from the top, the natural environment is simply wonderful. The trail is full of variety, which makes the ride even more interesting. And the best of all - there are several unmarked paved cart tracks and paths, so we always have plenty of choice.

Warning: not for imaginary landowners in the Ljubljana area.

Istrian epic circular trail: Hrastovlje – Veliki Gradež – Žbevnica – Veli Badin

Istria in this springtime offers unforgettable views and peace that is hard to find in the summer crowds. This time I set out on a varied circular tour that connects some of the most beautiful peaks and points of Slovenian and Croatian Istria.

Route and key points:

Hrastovlje: Our starting point under the mighty fortified church.

Veliki Gradež (507 m): First ascent, which serves up that true Karst landscape.

Žbevnica (1014 m): The peak that is the heart of this trail. Views from the top reach from Snežnik and Slavnik all the way to the Gulf of Trieste and deep into Croatian Istria.

Veli Badin (Ears of Istria): Descent under mighty overhangs and walls that are a natural masterpiece and home to numerous birds.

Church of St. Quiricus: Peaceful spot above Sočerga, offering the last panoramic view of the trail we walked (or cycled).

The tour is 54 km long and overcomes almost 1400 meters of elevation gain. Although I did it by bike myself, most of the trail (especially the top of Žbevnica and the edge of Veli Badin) is extremely popular among hikers too.

Fridrihštajn in a slightly different way. The film shows the reconstructed appearance of Fridrihštajn castle, as it might have looked 600 years ago, when it was still the proud fortress of the Counts of Celje. Today, only ruins of it remain, but its story lives on — in legends, memories and in the hearts of many who climb this 974-meter hill.

Short film reveals their secret refuge at Fridrihštajn — and the story that still lives.

On a wonderful, crystal-clear December day I set out to explore the Snežnik plateau – an area that always surprises anew with its wild beauty, forests and breathtaking views.

This adventure started in the quiet village Vrbica (427 m) near Ilirska Bistrica. Already the initial kilometers through the enchanting Reka river valley announced that the day would be something special. This was followed by the ascent to the mighty Snežnik plateau, where I visited several peaks and enjoyed the complete silence of the high forests.

The first goal was Goljak (1145 m), then the highest point of the tour – Veliki Razbor (1300 m), which offered one of the nicest views on the entire path. The descent to below Kozlek was a real fairy-tale experience, but soon the hardest part of the day followed: 150 elevation meters of a very demanding uphill by bike, which brought me to the top of Kozlek (997 m), where there is also a pleasant mountain hut.

From the top I descended towards Srednji vrh (910 m) and Sopilo (869 m), then an attractive final descent back to the valley awaited me, to the starting point in Vrbica.

In total I rode 35 km and overcame 1150 elevation meters. On the path exceptional views opened to the entire Reka river valley, to Kvarner Bay and also the islands Krk and Cres.

If you want to wander for a while into the forest area of Stojna, where humans are not frequent visitors, observe it from a slightly different perspective. Welcome.

🚵‍♂️ Divine tour through the Karawanks – epic EMTB adventure combining picturesque views, brutal ascents and adrenaline descents!
On the way I rode 50.4 km and overcame 1622 elevation meters. The route led me:
• from village Rodine (544 m),
• past the Završnica reservoir,
• up steep climb to Hut at Završnica spring (1425 m),
• through wonderful mountain valley to Hut on Zelenica (1536 m),
• then steep descent to Ljubelj border crossing (1058 m),
• and further on gravel road with average gradient 14° (up to 32° in places) to old Ljubelj border crossing (1369 m). Followed long descent to Tržič (516 m) and return on local road to start in Rodine.

Circular tour to Slavnik (1028 m) – Primorski Triglav! Start from Kozina, sea views, wonderful panorama at the top, descent through autumn-colored landscape towards villages Skadanščina and Povžane and return to Kozina. 38.4 km and 969 meters of real touring bike enjoyment!

Experience Pohorje in all its grandeur! 🚵‍♂️🌲 In this dynamic video we embark on an epic walk through some of Slovenia's most beautiful spots: from scenic Rogla, over mysterious Lovrenc Lakes and mystical Black Lake, all the way to enchanting Oplotniški Vintgar.

Join me on an adventure through the wonderful Karavanke. Start in picturesque Tržič (440 m), ride through the geological gem Dovžanovo soteska with its dramatic rock towers, then ascend to Taborniški dom Šija (1528 m) – the highest situated hut under the mighty Košuta mountain chain.
Continue the path towards the Kofce mountain hut, where peaks line up like pearls on a necklace. Follows dynamic descent to Podljubelj and back to Tržič – perfect circle full of views, fresh air and mountain bike pleasures.

Join me on a bike tour starting under the mighty silhouette of the Borovnica Viaduct in Borovnica and ending with return through the idyllic Borovnica valley. Follows an unforgettable mix of views, ascents, descents, nature idyll and heavy Ozzy Osbourne riffs providing the right energy backdrop.

This time I take you on the shorter variant of the famous endurance hike In the Footsteps of the Bears. I combined bike and hiking shoes to show you a good part of this trail and the wild, pristine world of Kočevski Rog.

In this video I take you on an unforgettable journey through one of the most beautiful natural treasures of Gorski Kotar – the natural park Green Spring, which lies right on the border with Slovenia, near the town of Skrad. We will walk through the stunning canyon Devil's Passage, about 800 meters long, where the Jasle stream breaks through dramatic rock walls, sometimes only two meters wide. The path leads through galleries and bridges carved into the live rock – a real treat for the eyes and soul!

At the end of the path awaits a breathtaking sight: a 70-meter high waterfall that plunges from a mighty rock overhang in front of the entrance to a mysterious cave, where the Green Spring originates.

The route starts with ascent to Kurešček, where a wonderful view of the Church of Mary Queen of Peace awaited me, rising above the surrounding nature. Continuation through forest and gravel roads took me to Turjak, where I felt the energy and power of the forest flowing into every bend.

But the real treat comes at the idyllic ponds in Draga valley. These wonderful wild treasures, where flora and fauna intertwine in genuine harmony, offer pleasant peace and relaxation – a real break from daily hustle.

Exploring nature on two wheels! 🌲

This time I'm heading to Pivka, where a real adventure awaits me! With my e-MTB I'm exploring vast forests and mysterious corners of this unique place. I visit two intermittent lakes – Palško jezero, which spreads in a basin at 546 m above sea level and at higher water level reaches an area of about 1.5 km², and Petelinjsko jezero, located at 531 m above sea level, at highest water level reaching depth 5–7 m and area 55 ha.

At the top of Holy Trinity, rising 1106 m above sea level, breathtaking views in all directions and a wonderful church await me, giving this place a special mark. But the adventure doesn't end here! After the ascent to Veliki vrh, I test myself on the edge of the Poček military polygon, where the terrain is very interesting.
