LG, if you happened to miss it - ARSU also announced level 3 for high mountains, yet you still went to Krn? Do you even think about what you write?

I was with locals under Krn, but at this level 3 I never go.

Lg, are you such a moralist everywhere? Sometimes you just gotta go to the terrain and see conditions on the spot, not everything in general forecasts.

It's easiest to spit on others, but not on one's own stupidities, mountain rescuers want all good for hikers and it's a shame that some ignore warnings.

Supersport and Mali Gobar, I just forwarded info from FB. It's sad that you spit on mountain rescuers who work voluntarily and to the best of their abilities.

LG, it's sad that you accuse someone of rushing somewhere at announced 3. degree, but do the same yourself. Intellectual salto mortale...

Under Krn it was between 1-2 degree.

LG I started hiking in the mountains when there was no internet and no info on conditions anywhere despite harsher winters than now. Obviously we had a good sense when we could head to the mountains in winter conditions! With you though I notice it's more about self-promotion and you have a big inferiority complex. BITE YOUR TONGUE SOMETIMES AND HOLD BACK YOUR COMMENT!!!!

...simon, better deal with those who cause problems on the terrain so that other inexperienced follow them, then when burial happens rescuers are targeted who risk their lives so they don't get buried too. Sometimes it was sometimes, now it's different.

Am I guilty that others follow my tracks? NO, I'm not! Everyone decides for themselves where to go. Exactly because of such dumb comments I stopped posting on this forum last year, because they always ruin the point and types like you drag attention to other stuff and yourselves! Best regards!

That's it. Yeah, only he does snowpack profile cuts in snow bowls and with ice axe. What do you know where the dog pees... Not everyone has such talent. Just try moving a block with ice axe yourself... And on less steep slopes he uses just one ice axe not two...

Today full moon. Without checking the calendar. www.lunin.net : Full moon time we're more sensitive, perceptive and aware. Time to get to the bottom of things, hidden stuff comes out, can't do otherwise than what's right. One more pic so not to clutter with off-topic comments.

LG, you quote GRS posts just as well as you master your native language. Your posts have no connection to GRS, mountain safety or anything useful to a normal person. Anyway flapho already gave you free diagnosis. ...

So? Two pages back he explained he checked conditions himself and decided to continue. The avalanche bulletin is public and anyone can read it, reports like his on conditions in the gully itself are added value of this forum.

As long as any GRS rescue is free it'll stay like this... despite those lights and whatever warnings it will/is like it is. When they start charging for rescues (all incl + treatment - well over 5,000 eur) for negligence no one will walk under/on Begunjščica at third degree light. Just example. Not even to Kredarica... Well, let's wait till then. Regards

"N"-th time.. Macro-regional snow conditions can't be equated with micro-local snow conditions. Example: If a certain avalanche danger level is declared in JA and Z Karavanke area this does NOT mean wherever you go an avalanche will carry you away. This about negligence doesn't hold. There will always be someone who rushes into hills after heavy snowfall, but that's how it is. Policy of just paying won't change the situation much. Important is to know how to test conditions on terrain and based on test result decide how. All these tests require certain expert knowledge, which no one here on forum will get. Need to attend trainings or better AŠ and there gradually gain knowledge, which then needs to be refreshed at courses and other occasions. Here are many people properly knowledgeable about avalanche dangers and their prevention, just need to browse forum a bit. LP

As far as I know, the "light" on that board is set more or less from a warm office, without field work and same "light" applies to whole Slovenia. Roughly like that unfortunately. We just don't have proper avalanche service. At Ljubelj it was different two or three years (special avalanche bulletin just for that region), but that EU project ended. For Saturday Italian forecast was much more appropriate, where for Julians and Karnics they forecasted second level. And here it wasn't any different. And even if by chance "second level light" is on, that doesn't mean you can go to Begunjščica. Best assessment always on the spot.
