Climbable gullies: Lenuhova, Desna, Frelihova, Zeleniška, Rožičeva ?, Direktna, Centralna, Y... ?
There's quite a bit of windblown snow in the gullies. It sinks considerably in many places. But you need to start very early in the morning due to high daytime temperatures.

Well as said, posting this from today...
Friday at 5am full parking... What?
Whole month eyeing Večerno on Begunjščica and today tackled it. Start very promising - transformed snow, sinking no more than 20cm. Bypassed first jump via left gully, but there messy conditions: untransformed snow on bushes...
Further better - again transformed snow, steepness increasing...
When reaching the ridge where route officially ends, snow gets heavier. But to summit just under 10min so doable.
Skiing pure poetry, although I haven't skied such a highly rated route before. I can say I enjoyed it.
Opposite for Ostržkovo gully in Begunjska Vrtača which I did next... Otherwise transformed snow but icy. Extremely interesting gully otherwise, but too narrow for skiing. Upper part enjoyable, but narrow section more torture.
In my opinion today ideal for skiing, and climbing where snow transformed.

Yesterday on Begunjski Vrtači, before that everywhere a bit...
Snow is wet, but not as bad as two, three days ago. Not quite stable, but doesn't slide too much. Lots of water, if you listen to the silence, you'll hear streams slowly seeping between rocks.
In the lower part, on the plaz, you can already find good spring snow that's a bit harder, overall soft and wet.
Snow on Ljubelj is disappearing so in two days you'll have to walk 100-150m on the ski slope.

Today I wandered a bit around Begunjščica. First I went completely up the left part of the central mountain, and descended it to the start of gully Y, but immediately turned left into an indistinct gully then logical traverses, for a while along some ridge towards the top. Snow rotten, soaked. No sliding though.
Would ask experts if this second ascent has a name. Attaching route pic.

Crazy how conditions changed in just one week. Last week it was still fully wintery with no sign of thaw. Now it's completely rotten.
