Kolesar, what are the conditions like in the central gully in these warm days?

On Saturday, where I went, it was similar everywhere; the central one was rotten too. But the good thing is that in the gully itself you walk on hardened footprints.

Yesterday after work, a quick trip to Begunjščica in the afternoon, high temperatures and rotten snow. With a colleague up and down Šentanc on skis nasmeh

Today really the last time! nasmeh

As befits a birthday, go skiing. Well, not exactly befitting, but I've always wanted that...

Snow starts a bit above Vrtača hut, skiable snow only above the road. Central is still skiable and will stay for a while... Snowed with wind, some windblown between hard patches. We skied from start of NW ridge.

Invited to read on blog where I quickly summed up last three tours. nasmeh

Has anyone gone over Zelenica to Begunjščica in recent days? Mainly interested in snow amount. Regards velik nasmeh

I'm also interested in the path over Zelenica to Roblek, or from Preval to Roblek hut. What about the path over Kalvarija? Is it dry? mežikanje

Today to Begunjščica from south side, from Draga past Poljska planina and Roblekov dom to summit. Weather changed from clear to thick clouds, fog and snow showers. Path was wet, muddy and slightly snowy above Roblek. Summits mostly in clouds, so views not great. Still, tour was interesting and pleasant.

The sheep are not on pasture, but probably on an excursion

ivoma, where do you live? Begunjščica doesn't border any neighboring countries, it borders only between municipalities, Radovljica, Žirovnica and Tržič

Today a nice circular: Ljubelj-Prevala-Begunjščica-Roblekov dom-Prevala over Roža-Ljubelj.

Today early morning to Begunjščica. Started at 5 at Ljubelj. Did a loop past the hut at Zelenica on the path to Roblekov dom to the top of Begunjščica further along the ridge, descent via calvary to Prevala and through Born tunnels back to Ljubelj. On return parking lot full to the last spot eek

. Conditions OK, caution needed as terrain quite wet.

From Ljubelj through Born tunnel to Prevala, and through calvary to Veliki vrh Begunjščice. Down to Zelenica. Clear, almost no wind and a bit too warm. Didn't meet many, but some nevertheless. Nothing new on the path, calvary still "steep".

tomorrow 21.07., doing circular path to Begunjščica, up over Zelenica and down over Prevala to tunnels...
Is there still any snow patch anywhere or is the path fully dry?

I did today's ascent to Begunjščica with my buddy quite roundabout, as we left from Ljubelj via Preval and Roblek hut to the top and descended via Zelenica back to Ljubelj. The trail is completely dry. The weather was the nicest this week: clear, warm enough and without strong wind. The loop trail offered superb views.
