Tomorrow walking around there won't be smart, due to avalanches from Bosova grapa and ridge of Planjava, Bab. South side afternoon like in oven and well above zero!. Until 10-11am I think still safe, night clear and cold. Grdksmrt, better rethink zavijanje z očmi

No dilemma for hikers and skiers. Take advantage of these nice days. Kamnik Saddle is ideal destination, where avalanche risk at least morning time is zero. Late afternoon no need to stay too close to Brana or Planjava, strong sun can do its thing. Bigger danger huge cornices on top of saddle, careful there.
Ski to Pastirci ideal, scree fully snow covered.
Yes, snow starts a short quarter hour before Pastirci. Recent icefall on approach no obstacle.

Excellent day at Kamnik saddle. Broken trees pose no problems on the path.

Yesterday it was really fantastic, we got some color (red) because we forgot the cream velik nasmeh

a bit flew down from Brana in the morning but no major dangers. It's nice to head out early because it heats up strongly in the forenoon and the snow sinks better.

grdksmrt: we seem to take same paths or directions; we plan Kamnik Saddle on Sunday. Almost met again like last Sunday at Bogatinsko sedlo. Kamnik Saddle we have "in front of window" and go there many times a year and peaks around. But this year first time, if weather guys don't worsen forecast by Sunday... Lots of hill pleasures ahead! mežikanje

I missed KS Alps a bit, so went to check conditions around Kamnik Saddle. Under Brana there are still lots of snowfields to cross, so wrote off Brana and wandered around the saddle. From Pastirji onwards everything is blooming. It was nice, no wind but pretty warm, though I started at 5am from Jermanca. A few of us enjoyed the sun before the hut, which they open at the weekend.
