Today I was at the saddle, it was a bit windy up top, the hut was open, drinks of course expensive, snow just a sample, don't recommend skiing.

Today there were many up there, I think at least 30 of us; it was one of my best destinations. Snow just right.

You are a real rat. If the hut were closed, you would complain again and write all sorts up there that it's closed. Then buy that beer in the shop and drink it right away for the first glug you find. Really no need to go inside, just enjoy the wind outside. No offense.

Me and my buddy Tomaž, we were up there last night, got to the winter room around 0:30. Fantastic, last 200m was pretty windy, otherwise super. Best at night when there's no crowd

Cveto, I'm interested how's the passage from Okrešelj to Planjava and Brana? How much snow? And where worth going to the top? Right on the scree at Brana, or crossing where the chains are. LP

Ugh, you found me! I write I was up at night, you ask like this no look, honestly no clue, I was up also 14.1 and today. Sunny weather, super. I always go from Kamniška Bistrica.

Curious what the path from Kam. Bistrica to hut is like (trodden, icy, mandatory at least crampons...)?

Path from Kam.Bistrica to Kam.saddle quite well trodden, from Pastirci to saddle track straight made, crampons very useful also for descent served well, hut closed today no problem tea and sausage from backpack, lots of hikers.

Yesterday evening, my buddy and I went from Kam. Bistrica towards the Saddle, but we turned back quickly as there was avalanche debris every 50 meters...

We went from Kam. Bistrica almost from the last parking lot... the path wasn't trodden yet, it was quite dark and foggy, so honestly we don't know how far we got. With some already triggered avalanches and 3 or 4 avalanche danger level, better to quickly go back to dig the car out of the snow

Everyone is heading to Kamnik Saddle from Kamn Bistrica but I tried from Logarska. Drove by car to Plesnik then a couple km on foot to Rinka waterfall further I couldn't go cuz would wade whole snow already to here only small track and had to lift legs very high. So had to turn back to Okrešelj not even tried to get there down in hotel told first path in spring markacists make and also fourth avalanche degree so Savinja hills see you April or May lp

The track to Okrešelj is made, but having to lift legs high (in places) is anyway standard in these conditions.
Avalanche danger on this side is still worth respect and "tourists" for some time won't get to Kamnik Saddle.
That about track markacists make in spring is far-fetched!
