Wonderful day for visiting Kamnik Saddle. Path to Pastirci almost dry. From there on soft snow.

Still from yesterday. Path to "V Klinu" dry (except crossing two standard small avalanches). Further, the path through the forest to the spring is quite icy, then to the top hard snow. In general, no special features, crampons of course mandatory.

Nice. Regarding crampons, the word mandatory doesn't quite fit. Proper 12-point crampons in winter are definitely essential on your feet or at least in the backpack if not needed. Didn't mean anything bad, for myself I know I never put them on if I don't need the high mountain ones.

Lijaneja, I agree with you.
Brana in the first snow is not yet some demanding thing for an experienced mountaineer. But when the first snow is compacted by wind and frost and the so-called crust forms and only 20 cm of new snow falls on top, then we talk about troubles where a lot of experience and common sense is needed to decide whether to turn back or not in the given conditions. If the material under your feet slides away, you go to Logarska. Writing from personal experience. I've already turned back there halfway up the north side. That's about my experiences. Gj, if I understand correctly, you've practically already been a passenger on the infamous "Okrešelj express", which always goes only in one direction. Some didn't have the luck to get off in time and are already deceased.

condition as of yesterday: I've seen it in much worse state. If you carefully maneuver between occasional potholes, it goes fine. On one or two sections there are slight icy patches, but nothing scary. Expect a shitty car because later it's completely soaked.

Road is OK, no ice anywhere, some pothole still found.
From Jermanca there are two small snow slides on the path under the cableway (5-10m), caution needed. In the middle part (ca. 100m below Pastirci) I recommend at least microspikes, because the path is icy and past Pastirci turns into ice/hard snow. To the saddle possible without major problems with proper gear; lots of steps made too.
