Yesterday, Sunday 31.03., someone [among the] Koča na Kamniškem sedlu visitors lost one black thinner glove. I brought the glove to [the] valley, [the] owner can pick [it] up at Planinsko društvo Kamnik [headquarters], Šutna 42, Kamnik. Can contact me by mail too.

Road to Jermanca is quite OK. On two parts it's a bit rougher, but it's doable slowly.

Saturday's goal was Brana. Eight of us gathered, four female hikers and four male hikers, the leader extremely experienced. Given the weather forecast I was surprised we went, but it was right... nothing got us wet, but it was foggy and windy. Pleasant walk past Pastirci, Kamrica and we were already at the hut on Kamnik Saddle. The leader's common sense prevailed and we decided correctly, after a short walk on the saddle, we descended to the valley. Stop at the hut in Kamniška Bistrica, excellent struklji, on the way home it poured, good we were already in the car... and next time to Brana.

Winter room at KS is always open outside summer season.

Yesterday I was at Kam. saddle. Snow starts somewhere at 1200m. At Pastirci it is 12-13 cm. Then more with every step. Between and above scrub (to "meadow") due to drifted snow it sinks up to waist . Below hut on meadow it's blown off (seen on webcam). Yesterday it was blowing hard hard, real winter. In winter room met colleague Gregor and his Staša. Doors to winter room drifted with packed snow to half.. Together we then plowed our way to valley and finished with coffee at Jurj .

I too was up yesterday (24.12.). Gorgeous, warm, sunny weather, no wind. Road to Jermanca except two, three gullies super, little path above even better. Initial part of path enjoyed in company of legendary Bojc, then I went at my pace towards summit. Snow at this time and height just a sample, starts a bit below Pastirci, a bit more among scrub, on summit blown off. Gaiters recommended last 200m elevation, crampons 50. Of course today it can all be different. Before hut a few hikers were chattering, it squeezed me a bit at the fact that Jerca and Simon are already history here.
At summit I could take photos without gloves.

Yesterday, 26.12., I was up. Weather wonderful, views divine. Not much snow on path. Best to have microspikes. I sadly left them at home, crampons used only for descent, from top to approx. spring.

Glad you always add hills above Matkov kot. Usually miss that in shots from Kamnik Saddle.
