Yesterday after a longer time again on the path to Kamnik Saddle. Path as usual without peculiarities but offers nice views and abundance of flowers. Went the usual path and made a detour with ascent to the saddle above Jermanca, where after logging now the right time for views from Mokrica to Zeleniške Špice. Abundance of rain has provided a nice view of the Rinka waterfall and a sad view on the ruins of the former hut at Okrešelj. To not lose the inscription on the boulder on the plain Na Stanu, it will be necessary to renew the text.

Today I went to Kamnik Saddle from Kamniška Bistrica.
Lots of people, nice weather but very windy at the top, strong gusts. Path normal.

Yesterday afternoon's Kamnik Saddle. Results of path work are visible too. All trees on the path were sawn down or cut through and the section under Pastirci renewed. THANKS everyone for the work.smile
At the saddle top in the grass, prescription glasses with damaged frame were found.

You mean the trees under the little spring on the left, steep path? And under the photo correct to 'sodro', it's more correct.smile

Well, I don't know exactly which steep path you mean, but there were several fallen trees on the marked path especially in the middle section of the path from the junction V Klinu to Pastircev.

On Saturday I plan to go to the saddle from Logarska via Okrešelj. I'm interested if there's some variant to return back via another path. Thanks for the answers and safe steps. smile

I assume you're going to the sad ceremony. Possible, but in the opposite direction from the one I have planned (if the weather allows). Over Kotliče, Turska gora and gully (with winter gear). I start from KB.

In beautiful warm weather we head as a family from Jermanca towards the saddle. I've only been hiking intensively in the mountains for 10 years, but when a 70-year-old guy confirms he's never seen such a crowd regarding parking then it must hold true. Hot to the hut, on the saddle quite tolerable. Huge number of visitors. Weather just as forecasted.
