Well, the hut was open yesterday and full. On the path still some patches of snow, which are not bothersome. Nice, not strenuous trip in the sun and with little wind. I've delayed the revisit quite too long ...

In November the hut on Snežnik will be closed. From December onwards it will be open on weekends with favorable weather forecast.

Yesterday to Snežnik from Sviščaki. Road now fully asphalted from Ilirska Bistrica to Sviščaki. No winter gear needed. Hut at top open with good attendance.

Hut on Snežnik closed this weekend (23-24 May) for maintenance. Next weekend opens doors again.

Yesterday: start Sviščaki to big Snežnik and back via little Snežnik back to Sviščaki, nice easy tour, just on path to little Snežnik be a bit careful, met 4 adders, one black.
