On Saturday after a long time to Ratitovec; up via Razor, return via Povden; spring conditions in the lowlands from the plain via Razor quickly turned to winter - wind-packed snow, thick frozen underneath, slippery; otherwise not dangerous, but in the steep slope to the hut had to be a bit careful; at the hut better to find shelter, as the wind was dancing quite a bit and brrr; circular return completely dry; more in pics. For those heading to Ratitovec tomorrow.
Tomorrow, due to the Železniki Rally, the road Železniki Prtovč from 9.00 to 14.30 is closed! The road Sorica - Soriška planina - Resje is also closed from 8.00 to 13.30.

With a one-week delay, but given the season the current conditions haven't changed much. Up via Povden, down via Razor. Hot, humid in the forest, clouds chasing on the top. WC in the hut one of the most tidy I've seen in the mountains, commendable.

Today after a long time some wandering on Kosmati vrh, extremely negatively surprised by the huge amount of new tracks or rather roads along the side of Kosmati vrh, if the ramp is open you could drive almost to the top of Kosmati with a regular car  and this in an area that should be under Natura 2000, really sad that such things are even allowed nowadays when we should protect nature not destroy it  if pastures survived with cart tracks before, today they don't need highways either. Lately they've built all sorts of infrastructure on Ratitovec, including a high-voltage power line. I prefer to avoid it.

The power line runs past Ratitovec.. but it's true that if you go via Povden or from Torka, you see it well  The tracks or forest roads have "multiplied" in many hills.. Around Kalisca, V. Poljane, Jezersko etc etc... I don't like them either..

Zabrdo- Ratitovec- Torka...
For up I chose a more "wild", pathless (trail-less) variant, terrain exploration of course, for down descent to Torka and by road to start.
