If on Sunday there really is a day without rain, given this heavy rain I'm wondering:
will it be possible to reach all starting points for the mentioned hikes normally by car from central SLO?
Could any hiking trail be harder to pass, too muddy, etc...?

Wait for nicer days, there will be no views on Sunday.

No mud from Vogel ski area. Cable car runs every day. If the path is too short, detour to Šija and Vogel. All paths are rocky.

Also from Grantarski gozd above Rut village no mud on path, as it goes on gravel road and stone mule tracks. From Rut or Grant villages on forest trail it could be different. Road to Rut village should have been cleared after last week's flood.

From Ribčev Laz crossing Suha stream right at start could be problem.
Last year (or maybe 2 years ago) heavy rain at this time also washed away part of path along the stream. On 23.9.2014 I went via Planina Suha in opposite direction and lower part of cart track path was very muddy and churned by tractors.

Just one remark: the cable car no longer runs until the start of the ski season, last weekend was the last.

Thanks for the warning. It completely slipped my mind that cable car operators do maintenance in November. Ski area website says they should start operating on 5.12.2014 if snow conditions are good.

And one addition: no mud also on path from lower Vogel cable station along ski slope through Žagarjev graben (gravel road to planina Zadnji Vogel).

That's right, if starting from Ribčev Laz, can make loop returning via Graben and along lake. But don't really recommend, descent via Žagar is boring even in good weather, let alone this autumn "depri"... Passability no problem except mud last quarter hour before lower cable station.

Oh, and I warn Lakkon too, for Bohinj mountains really worth waiting for good weather, otherwise pointless pushing up, best case miss views, usually all in fog anyway. If "must" go to Bohinj end in bad weather, better e.g. from Blato to Ledvička and back. Or something non-ridge.

First tour of season 14/15. At start legs a bit wooden, but soon the right feeling was back. Snow a bit too little, so quite some damage to skis, but doesn't matter, important we're back on snow. Probably better earlier when harder, at two the upper part real minefield nasmeh

Yesterday (Sunday, 23.11.2014) on Rodica from Grantarski gozd above Rut village. Snow started at forest exit. Path in morning nicely packed (probably first hikers after snowfall broke it with snowshoes), no issues also ascent over steep part with steps to saddle. For descent snow softened well and slippery slide over steep part, so ascent probably not so easy anymore. Exceptionally warm day more like summer than winter, such was Rodica visit too. Loads of skiers from Bohinj side and quite some hikers from Rut.

Just before the weather worsened we used the sunny afternoon and jumped to Rodica, where we awaited the sunset - you could see all the way to the sea!

Today on Rodica from Ruta or Grantarski forest. To the saddle the path is bare, from saddle to top snow is windblown and icy, so crampons not superfluous. At top cold and windy. Views though..... nasmeh

Yesterday we were on Rodica. Path to Grantarski forest not cleared so we started the tour already in Rut. No one before us for days so we mostly broke trail in 30-60cm snow. We had crampons but they warmed nicely in the backpack.
At top we bathed in sun with views of sea of clouds. Definitely worth the effort!

Yesterday we attended the traditional ski tour descent from Rodica.
Skiers came to the top from Planina Suha and Vogel. We had great conditions for both skiing and hiking. After descent to Suha there was socializing at the hut.

If someone goes to the top on foot, snowshoes needed in the afternoon because snow crusts and breaks. nasmeh
