The trail from Rute to Rodica was already completely dry on Sunday. The northern side of the Bohinj mountains still has quite a bit of snow.

Climbing to Rodica from Rute is always nice.
The trail is of course dry and doesn't represent a very demanding path, but it quickly gets very hot.
I would ask visitors on occasion to refrain from littering the path - I returned with a huge bag of waste.

link, on Saturday I didn't notice any litter on this trail. But I noticed two cyclists and had to retreat into the bushes.

I hike quite a lot, but I see almost no litter. Don't know where he picked up a "huge bag". Possible that some group of careless people visited Rodica.

Hello!
Maybe I'm tempted to go to Rodica tomorrow.
Start from south from Rutarski gozd, Grant or most likely from north from Javorje.
Currently any problems reaching mentioned starts and parking there?
Conditions on mentioned trails? Snow, ice, trodden... which easiest to ascend in winter conditions? Reckon at top by normal pace latest around 14.30.

Hi! Today with R.m. traversed from Vogla to Rodica. To Šija trodden, from traverse on we two broke trail. That first crossing tricky to saddle (esp last part). Snow from crust to powder. Ridge windswept. Of course no winter gear no go
Currently quite strenuous for hikers, sinks from Za ulicami to planina Suha up to waist.

On Thursday great ski touring day on Rodica. We came from Vogl, but from seen, conditions (if not much change) conditionally enjoyable also for foot tour. From Za Ulicami on hikers sink minimal (winter gear mandatory), lower to planina Suha more.
