Greetings mexsen.. I suggest the route starting at pl.Blato -Štapce-hut 7J-Prehodavci-Dolič-Triglav summit-Planika where you overnight and then via Velska valley -Krstenica-pl.Blato..easy also under mišelj peak..For me or us this route is wonderful because the ridge to the summit is more secluded with wonderful views... botany, you meet many animals... and you return to start and no transport problem

Thanks everyone for the answers. It's worth considering, yeah Maybe there is some other "loop" where we go past lakes and return to the starting point at the end, or at least near it? Bohinj-Pokljuka is about half an hour drive, right?

strikan, I think I saw your group when you were descending towards Kredarica, am I right? We went up 2x first from direction Krma-Planika-Triglav then we descended to Kredarica and from Kredarica again to Triglav then return past Kredarica to Kovinarska hut

Morning took last parking spot at end of road on Pokljuka. Nice day promised and expected immense crowd. When I reach Konjščica already hear accordion. Well, started early! Actually it was a local. Actually, he didn't play that badly. Sat a bit and headed towards Studorski saddle. First steep behind me. From there to Vodnik hut path practically flat. Overall this approach from Pokljuka one of the conditioning easiest to Triglav. Harsher steep then only from Konjski saddle to Planika. At Planika leave poles in hut and off we go. First easy ladder through some kind of rhino in rock very warns about further difficulty although some Croatian girl here descending has quite some trouble. How did she manage everything above? Path to ridge solidly secured, although some extra ladder wouldn't hurt. Nice ferrata which I enjoyed and of course increasingly better views. At Mali Triglav I stop and snack. Interesting that people rush past actually third highest peak of Slovenia. Then I tackle the ridge. Nicely secured, of course airy, views excellent. People despite tailor-made weather not many. Still had to meet here and there. During one such meeting almost hit by pole sticking out of someone's rucksack. Sunglasses wouldn't help or I'd fly off the ridge. Someone had whole uncollapsed poles sticking out of rucksack. Dangerous especially for him... Then meet gentleman with interesting protection for child. Like dog on leash he pulled him. Well hope that 'leash' at least here and there threaded. Didn't look at people's footwear much otherwise probably had something to see... Otherwise people mostly friendly, no primitivism or unfriendliness as some notice on this mountain. Then follows final ascent to summit. From afar looks like going somewhere into sky. But when close you see it's not that bad, continuously secured, with good steps... At top view reached only nearby mountains as predecessor wrote. Stayed about 10-15 min then down to catch the day. Along ridge went smoothly flowing, people mostly respected rule that descender has priority. From Mali Triglav towards Planika downhill a bit tricky but of course doable. When ladder already ends a bit tricky descent over rocks and scree and pity I didn't carry poles to that first ladder through rhino and leave them there behind some rock. Now they would come in very handy. Good to know for next time. Then almost no stopping to Pokljuka, except at Konjščica for beer. There chatted a bit with hutkeeper and already in almost pitch dark just before ten reached car. At Bled still go for ice cream, kremšnite there anyway boycott, since they have better in our pastry shop and even get two for price of one.

@VanSims Did you go over Škrbina to the top? Well, yesterday on the path over Škrbina there was no crowd, we returned then over Mali Triglav back to Planika and met hikers going to the top in such heat with kids - roped... compared to last year's ascent there really was no crowd, nor then to Krma, only two hikers, it looks like the main season is coming . Yesterday we also met some forum members and of course chatted. LP!
