Today on Triglav, actually nothing new regarding conditions. Crossed the glacier i.e. snowfields and crossed Kugy's ledge which is bare, and descended via the old Kugy path to Zadnjica.

for jprim: I think(know) it's Kredarica in the picture not Planika. Interested in route comparison regarding Tominšek's and Slovenian to Mangart or Ridge on Prisojnik. Several years ago I was on Triglav via Tominšek's, but kinda forgot how it looks difficulty-wise compared to the other two we did this year. Interested because I'd like to take my sons on that one to Triglav.

primoza : I've already gone from Rudno polje and from Krma, and from Vrata (via Prag, Tominškova ), Uskovnica. I don't remember which pictures describe Tominškova, that's why I'd like some more detailed advice for this route, because we all want?? to approach up this way.

Hello everyone, I'd like info on the condition of ropes and pegs on Tominškova route and Plemenice; doing a loop tour to Triglav with small group of hikers this weekend. Thanks in advance for the reply and good luck in the mountains.

In case you'll overnight in one of the huts around the summit, yes. If you mean to start the day from your home doorstep, then no!

I would start very early, so be at Kredarica in the morning at 7-8. Start from Krma for one day.

Don't know why you don't trust the descriptions on hribi.net, browse and it'll be clear. LP!

Hi. Do you recommend a hike to Triglav for tomorrow?

Forecast for tomorrow Tomorrow morning quite clear. In the morning patchy cloudiness will start forming and especially in Julian Alps and western Karavanks first showers. In the afternoon showers and thunderstorms will appear elsewhere along the Austrian border. Moderate southwesterly wind. At 1500 m around 15, at 2500 m around 10 degrees C. Not hard to figure out, but check the weather

Yeah really, such or even more optimistic forecast by our meteorologists can also mean rain early morning say around Triglav (I remember once at 6.30 it poured before Luknja), especially with recent weather I wouldn't trust them...

Hello! End of next week camping by Lake Bohinj. I'd like to do tour from Savica waterfall, M. Tičarica, over Kanjavec to hut at Dolič. Then ascent to Triglav and back via Zasavska hut and V. Špičja to start. How much time approx for this route? For comparison Aljažev dom, Luknja, Plemenice, Triglav I hike 4 hours. Thanks!
