Bovški Gamsovec is really nice tour with exceptional views to Očak and other sides, I also recommend, up via Sovatna and down via luknje.

Thanks everyone for quick answers...

I have one more question: Is this path described at http://www.hribi.net/izlet/konec__ceste_na_pokljuki_triglav_cez_planiko_in_triglavsko_skrbino/1/1/797 the "Noga" path mentioned by @Bojan_A?

I'm interested which circular route to the top and from the top you would recommend? Škrbina, M. Triglav, Kredarica? As much as I read, all three approaches are difficult and climbing, which doesn't bother us...

On the above link is description of "Čez nogo" path.

As far as I remember you planned a quite suitable loop yourself ... Otherwise all mountain paths are beautiful in their own way (not only to Triglav) and if there are no other limitations, it doesn't matter which loop you choose. But if you're hesitating, then definitely you see more if you take a wider loop - one such is (from your original plan) Pokljuka-Velo p.-Planika-M.Triglav-Triglav-T.škrbina-Dolič-Velska d. (or same in opposite direction). Otherwise, in the summit part of the mountain besides "Čez nogo" variant you have only the path Kredarica-M.Triglav-Triglav, which you can include in a "loop" with Dolič or Planika. That's all, at least regarding marked paths in the summit part of Očak.

The mentioned paths are neither particularly difficult nor overly climbing for experienced, but well secured according to the type of visitors. It's true that exactly Triglav is visited by people with very different levels of prior knowledge and experience, so approaches to it are demanding for some of them. All, such and different, then like to share our (subjective) Triglav experiences here. I want to say: for objective overall view it's still smart to go to the booklet, take a suitable guidebook in hand and check there too the descriptions of approaches to Triglav.

I've started leaning more towards the option to start from Krma, then to Planika, over Noga or the "safer" usual path to the top, descent then via Kredarica, over Kalvarija to the starting point.

Time-wise this path is about as long as the one from Pokljuka, but it's true, more elevation gain on this one.

Still some doubts and questions about the approach direction arise; via Kredarica or via Planika, though I prefer up the harder, down the slightly less demanding path..

Thanks again for the advice! mežikanje

Thursday, 30th August, was obviously the last warm and clear summer day on and below Triglav. Quite a few visitors, at least half foreigners (praiseworthy).
New cables are being installed towards Mali Triglav for even easier access.
The path over Prag is well secured, from Kredarica to Triglav likewise.

If I'm correctly informed, they should be replacing pitons with cable for self-securing from Kredarice direction (info is a bit old though)

As far as I know, 100ž on 3glav goes from Planika, so these new cables on the path from Kredarice probably unrelated to themzmeden?

Yes, from Planika they go. But if the path is newly secured it's OK too. Just curious if they'd put a "traffic counter" between Kredarice and Mali Triglav eek how much it'd show end of year ???

If I understand correctly, this event '100 women on Triglav' will already be finished before Sunday?

Hello, the hike of 100 women will apparently end on Saturday this year. In the newspaper as well as on the sponsor's website it says: This year we are organizing the 47th hike »A Hundred Women on Triglav«, which will take place from 6 to 8 September 2012.

Well, that's good. Because although I like women, I wouldn't want to meet a hundred of them up there.
