Despite the worse weather forecast we set off from the gate on Tuesday afternoon via Tominškova.
Shortly after starting the hike the forecasts came true and it started raining, but to all our surprise after a good 5 minutes it stopped and the sun appeared from behind the clouds nasmeh

Since the rain no longer urged us we leisurely arrived at Kredarica around 8 pm. Few people and most of those few were foreigners. We got up just before 6 am and filled our stomachs, and just before 7 we started the ascent, the sun was already showing and the summit was nicely visible. But unfortunately the higher we went the higher the fog rose too, which we just couldn't escape. When we arrived at the summit we were wrapped in thick fog, cold wind lowered the already low temperature so we couldn't stay more than half an hour.
Three were on the očak for the first time so we teased them a bit and after a few photos went through the notch towards Planika. As soon as we reached Planika and looked up the sun showed again and Aljažev tower bathed in sun rays. What can you do, luck is fickle, after a short snack we headed back to Kredarica and through the prag to the valley. Trip excellent and unforgettable, if we'd had sunshine on the top too it would have been kitschy velik nasmeh

I'm wondering where it's easiest to cross the Triglav Bistrica when it swells: there where at the klin in Vrata you turn left to Tominškova.

From own experience when it swells it's impossible to cross there, the crossing spot is very high up higher than the start of the path over Prag.

Very early at 4.15h in thick fog I set off from Pokljuka (100 women probably still sleeping or maybe not) past Vodnikov dom and onwards to Planika and Triglav skrbin to the top. Very thick fog slowly cleared only near Vodnikova k. and a bit higher Konjsko sedlo which is the nicest in mountains sun above sea of fog below. From top slowly past Kredarica and back to Konjski preval where already 100 women go left to Planika.

Very nice pictures. Probably not some pro camera machine, but you get everything out of it.

Thanks chico. The thing is, no pro but Samsung Galaxy S i9000 phone. All my pics are taken with the phone, so I never carry a camera with me; the phone is practical because you always have it anyway. zavijanje z očmi

Yesterday first time on Triglav!
We didn't go neither from Pokljuka nor from Krma, as originally planned..
In the morning at six we started from Vrata via Tominškova past Kredarica to the top, back over Prag.
Tominškova is really a path to rest the soul! Views phenomenal, and not too much crowd. From Kredarica to Triglav another story...

Yesterday was an exceptional day for visiting the mountains. From Vrata via Plemenice we climbed to Triglav, and returned via Prag. On the way we also detoured to Morbegno.

Yesterday traffic was being lowered to Aljažev dom, as both parking lots were occupied

Super weather convinced us too to head to the top of Slovenia. We start at Planina Blato via Krstenica and Planina Jezerce towards Vodnikov dom.
Below the dom we stop at the sirarna and treat ourselves to a cup of sour milk, because we had settled down. We skip Vodnikov dom and continue towards Tržaški dom at Dolič, where comfy beds awaited us.
Before dawn we head to the summit. When we arrive at the škrbina and the view of the entire Triglav ridge opens up to us, we almost laughed, as endless masses of hikers were pouring from all sides. On the top we barely find an empty spot to quickly snack, take some pics and hurry on towards Planika. Due to constant waiting the descent dragged on a lot, because of that and strong sun we change original plans and continue past Vodnikov dom, Mišeljski preval to Planina v Lazu, from there we still stroll to Koča pri Jezeru, where we take the last rest before the end of our path. The day ended too quickly, but wonderful memories remained from this end of Julijske Alpe.

-For a long time the tour to Triglav tempted me, namely over Plamenice, but always something came up.. on Saturday I decide to go carefully alone. Still in pitch dark I start from . The parking collector wasn't there yet, but the crowd was quite big. Slowly I head towards Luknja, I must praise the newly made path under the summit, diligent and successful you were nasmeh

To sedlo I arrive still in dark, so I had to wait for dawn, because I didn't dare the unknown path with headlamp.. then it started.. beautiful, superbly routed well secured path takes you to kingdom nasmeh

no crowd on this path, in dark it was nice to see little lights that were ascending in all directions from Vrata. At the top by the tower as usual crowd, joy... nasmeh

I returned to Kredarica and Krma, where transport waited.. super tour that wants to repeat nasmeh

slowly the days clear and beautiful views open

Nice greetings!
I'm interested in your opinion. On Wednesday I plan to go to Triglav. I'd return the next day. The weather forecast isn't very promising. What do you say? Is it safe to go on such a tour with possible rain and thunderstorms.

It's always possible, in this case according to the weather forecast it's not wise.

Jamy .. don't go!!! high chance of snow, so (I assume you're not really winter prepared) it would be very unwise.. Wait for the front to pass, then check what the conditions are like.
