Today we headed from Krma via Kurica to Planika and Triglav. In Kurica there's one nasty snowfield, but with a bit of ingenuity can avoid it. From Planika to Triglav just a little snow at start, which on return can offer real fun. Otherwise path dry. Just mention well done road to Krma - deep ruts and holes probably still winter legacy. Not many visitors on Triglav today, weather offered bit of everything - we got washed too! Safe to all!

Hi, we plan to go 20th to Triglav from Vrata valley via Prag. How's snow there? Cuz going with kids 13 and 15 yrs. Been up Triglav three times already, so experience we have. Just no snow experience and don't want to be in danger, cuz this year snow in high mountains lingers a lot. Regards

On path over Prag need to cross 3 small snowfields (at least as of 29.6.) where ice axe welcome...probably some snow melted during week so maybe different now...anyway by 20th probably whole path over Prag dry. Higher on Triglav faces towards Kredarica still quite some snow, but path trodden so doable without winter gear too.. Regards and safe.

At end of planina before trough there's cross ditch, from trough on road torn up (ditch in middle some 50m), at top of hill lots of gravel deposited. With care all three spots drivable to end parking.
At least as of 25.6.

Yes, if right from trough on really careful - avoid biggest holes, get with car to ramp too  Otherwise leave car at trough, that's 10 min more walk

Hi! Has anyone gone over Tominškova gora recently? I'm planning to go up tomorrow and I'm curious about the conditions. I'll take my ice axe, but I won't drag crampons along!

Igor, what do you think, will it be possible to go to Triglav from Dolič on the unlucky date 13.07.2013. No panic, I'm not superstitious. Starting from Prehodavci, overnight there, then via Hribarice, in between Poprovec and Kanjavec to Dolič hut, then I'll see if I can go to the top. Safety first of course. Do you know about snowfields and ice? Maybe something was posted these days, I might have missed it. I know conditions change daily - for worse or better. I think yesterday it wasn't friendly at all as far as I had the chance to observe from Vernar summit. Really adrenaline peak. From pre-summit to top I'd compare it a bit to Mrzla gora, only that on Mrzla gora rocks have rings, so you know how to tackle the rocks.

On Friday we went with my buddy via Tominškova gora, no issues except towards the top in one gully still a snowfield that doesn't cause big problems but need to be extremely careful. We continued to Stanič hut and via lower path on snow to Kredarica. Morning to the top, although all in fog, no snow except at the top which predecessors already wrote. We planned to descend via Cmir but at Stanič they advised against because supposedly still quite some snow and since we don't know the path we descended via prag.

Yesterday up Tominškova to Kredarica, then to the top. Descent to Kredarica and then over Prag down to the valley. Totalcek already said what the path is like. Weather was cloudy, with occasional wind gusts.

At the beginning of the month Hribarice were still completely under snow, Kanjavec and Dolič mostly too. Practically skiing conditions, but if you have all winter gear, there shouldn't be issues. To the top via Planika if you want a dry route.

Hello. I'd like to head to Triglav, but I don't have such company, I wouldn't want to go alone, it's good to have someone along. Which mountaineering societies organize these hikes? Or some other idea?
